Tap at the brewpub on Dec. 6, 2011. Clear yellow pour with a nice clingy white head. Floral and sweet honey elements abound. Lighter palate. Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Draft sample. Poured clear pale color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate herbal floral sweet aroma. Medium body with with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing balanced brew.

Draft at Haymarket. Pours a pale gold, some hazy notes. Nose is quite bready and fresh, hint of citrus and some nice floral honey notes that persist and balance the bread. Not much in the way of chamomile. On tasting, mild sweetness across the palate and some more of that citrus notes light floral, no astringency. Clean and crisp, nice dry finish overall. Quite a nice beer, really. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Growler thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of honey and chamomile with a backing earthy wheat note. Flavor begins with a good amount of honey and mellows to a wheat finish. A bit of backing chamomile. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Draft at Haymarket. Transparent gold, white ring, low head. Light honey, sugar, citrus, dusty wheat nose. Flavor of belgian spice, pepper and yeast aggressive, light orange and bubblegum esters. A bit hot, some glue in the finish, some dirty yeast. Clashing, simple, little to resemble a wheat ale. Blech.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a fairly clear golden yellow hue, dulled glow to it with a decent whitish frothy head that dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are touches of florals, lemons, and chamomile spice, earthy and perfumey with flaked wheat, touches of gentle spice, more bread and cereal. Fairly lively, as chamomile can be very overwhelming for me. Initial is a blast of tea, sweet grains and honey mix with some earthy tea, spicy chamomile, earthy, and lots of drier flaked wheat. Touches of lemon and florals. Middle remains sweet on the palate, tea like essence really drags on. Finish shows a touch of dryness and lingering sweet honey, cereal grains, flaked wheat, touches of gentle spice, tea. I’d say overall this is a bit unbalanced. The nose was quite nice, got a little messy into the middle. Finish makes it a bit better. Meh. Nor as bad as I thought, but not a beer for me. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 13, 2011
draft... watery yellow straw, way too clear... not a fan of this, too much tea, a bit of lemon, skunky, not my thing drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Pours clr straw yellow with White head. Nose of floral, tea, and qhite pepper. Good nose. Flavor is loaded with sweet honey and chamomile tea, sweet wheat grainy quality, really sweet middle and finish lacking a balance to make this even drinkable. Finishes clean though.
