3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster @ Haymarket. Pale yellow, a little cloudy, under a white parfait foam. Sweet smell with a little yeast; not a very strong ale smell, considering. Taste is pretty malty and a little sweet. Hops are working well with this beer, I can play a taste over every part of my tongue and feel it sublimate into carbon dioxide. My first Haymarket beer (but I didn’t have the info to enter it), and it’s a very good impression.
Clear golden yellow with minimal white head. Orange citrus, light banana, honey. Decently bitter, sweet. Medium body, oily, longer finish. Fine. Leighton (22812) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2016
Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has light floral notes, pale bread, suggestions of alcohol. Medium sweet flavour with moderate boozy kick, some pale grain, honey, wheat. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet and lightly warming on the finish, with more bread, caramel. Tasty stuff. Draft: Poured a yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of residual sugar and light warming alcohol is average. Taste is dry with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and light warming alcohol. Lacks the complexity associated with the style and the yeast profile is not as dominant as I would have expected. edgallow (4629) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 19, 2016
sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, grain and cloves. Taste is banana, grain, citrus and fruit. JK (6342) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JAN 10, 2016
Draft at the brewpub, December 2015. Hazy, opaque, dark yellow. Very little head. Carbonation is very high for an American beer, and that is great. Lightly sweet, light flowers and some spices, grains of paradise maybe. High alcohol is not especially noticeable in the flavor, aroma, or palate.

Pours a cloudy, dark golden orange color with straw colored edges and a half finger white head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind. Nice color but head and lacing are weak.
Subtle grassy hops in the aroma along with bready yeast, alcohol sweetness, pale malt and light fruit esters. Grassy saaz hops with delicate resins followed by bread, biscuit, apple, pear and faint peppery spice. Somewhat bland aside form the light fruit presence. A bit boozy as well with stronger alcohol character than expected.
Medium body with earthy floral hop flavors countered by bready yeast, faint spice and light fruit notes. Dry, piney bitterness is prominent up front but never overwhelms . Cut mid-palate by citrus/topical fruit sweetness, strong bread/yeast character and light fruit, especially apple and pear. Kind of reminds me of an American pils/tripel hybrid. Not a bad take on the style but nothing really stands out. Dfonorow (2318) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2014
On tap at Haymarket. Pour is hazy orange/gold with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of pine needles, biscuit malt, banana, and spice. Finish is similar with a touch of booze and orange zest. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Draft at Taste the Rarity
Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Very esthery aroma, banana and clove. Very yeasty flavor, lots of banana and spice and bubblegum. Not really my thing.

Aroma: Nose of fruit, yeast, and spice, some banana as well
Appearance: Pours a hazy golden color with an average sized head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, somewhat sweet, spice, and yeast
Palate: Medium body, with an okay mouthfeel
Overall, this was a solid one, but not a favorite for me. It is at least worth trying.
Draft at haymarket. From notes. Loads of banana, citrus and clove. Warming finish.
