On tap @ Haymarket. Golden pour with a white head. A bit of tea, floral hops, and a bit of melon. Some pear, peaches, and a nice bready note. But, lots of sugar/caramel. Flavor is just too sweet for me. Tons of fruit and sugar notes. Big caramel, bread, and peach. Canned pears, floral hops, and a touch of tea leaf bitterness. Sample at the brewpub. Hazy dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of fruity yeast, hops and earthy malt. The finish is malty up front with a mild citrusy hops aftertaste. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is full of tropical fruit and citrus with some backing flora and sweet grain. Flavor begins with grapefruit that mellows into citrus and is backed by light grain. BVery (10501) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2011
