Cloudy pale yellow with good, creamy, white head / Light, crisp, nose of lemon and funk / Light body, acidic and crisp, a hint watery but with fine balance and excellent dry, bitter, finish / Elegant flavors of weed, lemon, coriander, grass, and brett / A lovely, light, complex, summer beer. On tap @ the brewpub. Very hazy light yellow. Incredible aroma! Sammy says "It smells like a summer day on an island!" Guava, white grapefruit, summer flowers, wheat malts. Light, crisp, and dry, but bursting with flavour. This, to me, is a perfect summer session ale. Outstanding! gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2011
Had this at the brewpub in Chicago, Illinois. A nice, sessionable beer, well balanced with some toastiness later on, and a mellow finish. Salut! deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 3, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is full of tropical fruit and citrus with some backing flora and sweet grain. Flavor begins with grapefruit that mellows into citrus and is backed by light grain. Frank (4257) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 2, 2016
This is a pretty mild and nice hoppy Belgian. It’s cloudy blond with a creamy head. Yeast character is nice and spicy and works well with the fruity hops. It’s dry and fairly full bodied with a pleasant smack of hops in the finish. This is one you can really slug down. I like it.

4oz sampler from the brewpub, ultra fresh. Pours a cloudy yellow with a moderate white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, lemon, and Belgian yeast. Flavor of orange, yeast, herbs, grass, pepper, and light brett with a dry finish. Easy drinker. nuplastikk (6511) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Tap at Haymarket. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan. Thin, steady oily white head. A really pleasant, well executed beer. Big hop and yeast tones, but a subdued malt backbone creates a smooth nice balance. Melon hop tones, maybe some amarillo. Nails it, well done. miyauchi38 (1117) - chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 10, 2015

Can from Trader Joe's. Yeasty aroma with alot of fruit on the nose as well. Melon, apple, and banana. A dry pale ale with spicy Belgian yeast and fruity dry hops. Great for the style. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2012 draft at brewery. pours very hazy straw yellow with white head. nose is very yeasty and wheaty, some lemon, flavors are tart wheat, a bit puckering. Yeasty grainy, and very wheat forward., lemony and very mild pine notes, odd beer, not really drinkable. 2.5
2/12/12, rerate cuz Derek said it was so good. It’s true Pete has cleaned up or learned from his earlier batches as the yeast fermentation and hopping are working much better here. I still don’t think it’s amazing, ti Jean was way better but this serves a nice purpose being low alc and well hopped. Body is really thin.
8/5/12 another 12oz pour at the bar and I’m a pretty big fan. There’s lots of flavor for 4.5% and $3.75. It really can’t be beat. Clean citrusy, bitter, crisp. I could and want to drink this for days. 3.7
