UPDATED: JUL 23, 2013 On tap at the brewpub. Belgian pale yeasty nose. Murky yellow body with a white head. Dirty belgiany flavors. Thin body. Dry. Kinda messy. Bitter finish. Like the other Belgian ones Iíve had here, I think the yeast just needs a little more time to clean up and turn into a simpler more palatable beer. 6/3/6/3/12

On tap at Belgian fest 2012. Hazed yellow. Light lemon crisp. Bitter tasty effervescent. 7/3/7/4/15
Sample from beerfest. Poured a hazy yellow color with a tiny white head that didnít retain for very long. Aroma was some citrus hops, bubblegum, grass, and malts. Flavor was citrus, with some bread and yeast. Dry bitter in the finish. Good beer. drdisque (830) - Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2017
On tap at Little Goat. Pours clear bronze. Flavor is dry rye with a touch of bitterness. A good, but not exceptional effort at a Belgian Style Pale Ale here. Iím not getting as much of the Belgian yeast through the hops as I would like. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2011
On tap the pub...A super murky neon straw, strangely reminds me of a glass of yeast. A couple fingers of white head, good lacing...Yeast and lots of it, yeast, and lemons. Not bad, needs to be a little sweeter...The taste starts off very yeasty, but brings about some nice sweet notes.. The finish is chalky and surprisingly alcoholic, which is a big detractor.
Besides the finish this is pretty easy to drink. Iíd have it again. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clouded, golden-orange colored body with an inch thick, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is banana with a good amount of citrus and Belgian yeast. Fairly lemony with a light wheat tartness as well. Flavor is similar. Banana and lemony citrus up front with a light wheat. Some yeast and a light tartness in the middle before the hops kick up towards the end and dry this out completely with a moderate, earthy and piney bitterness along with a slightly tart lemon, peppery yeast, and Belgian yeast. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and carbonation. Overall, a solid Belgian pale ale. Nice flavor and well hopped with a distinct Belgian yeast. Easy drinking and very flavorful for being only 4.5% ABV.

Tap at the brewpub on Dec. 6, 2011. Hazy yellow pour. Mild hop and yeast nose and taste. Pretty nice brew. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2012
On draft at brewub poured a murky light yellow color, aromas of grass, caramel, light fruit and some toast. Flavors are the same with some nuts. Ok beer overall. Markm2151 (280) - toledo, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Little to no aroma, what is there is reminiscent of Belgian ales. Good, but somewhat bland. gregwilsonstl (2466) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Lots of floral aroma. Dark straw. Grassy. Pretty tasty. Midwest Belgian beer festival at perennial. Christpuncher (3110) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 25, 2014
One if the better belgium pale ales I have had. Slightly fruity with a nice hop backbone. Smells lightly of fruit. Pour yellow in color. Had at haymarket
