Draft at Haymarket. Translucent amber, thinnest white ring for a head, light pine and caramel rule initial nose. Misplaced orange and tea in the flavor, lasting through to sugary finish, bit soft and coating, low bitterness and high ester house character emerging with warmth. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2011
On tap at Haymarket. Pours golden amber with white head. Aromas of citrus hops and some caramel malts. Flavor was much the same. Really lacking hop punch I was looking for. Drinkable but forgettable at same time. Lubiere (13941) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 14, 2011
A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity caramel malt, with faint British hops, quasi German, a bit of doughy character. In mouth, a grainy malt, roasted, biscuity with herbal hops, veering on Czech hops, like a German alt. Not bad but not to style. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 11 2011. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2011
draft... bright orange, very clear, nice retentive head... the aroma is lots of citrus hops, but a little plain... tastes ok, easy to drink, forgettable amongst the other ipas on tap right now Frank (4208) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Clear golden copper. Thick head of dense bubbles. A nice, piny IPA with earthy bitterness and good balance. Light bodied but not lacking in flavor. Pretty well done.

Draft at Haymarket. Pours a hop-hazed gold with a sticky white head. The nose again is somewhat subdued, but lends nice fruity hop notes. Lots of citrus and grain come across the nose. Not a ton of depth, but decent overall. On tasting, the bitterness is good, sharp citrus undertones and fruitiness. Clean fermentation. A touch on the sweeter side overall, but a pretty decent IPA, though not in the top tier. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a fiery orange darker gold hue, just a faint touch of haze makes this baby glow/shine. A decent brighter white frothy head dies to a thicker ring, laces ok. Aromas are a melange of sweeter citrus. A load of oranges and grapefruit hit the nose, fruity, with touches of cotton candy, mellow florals and grass. Mixture of bready and doughy malts, pushing a sweeter typical feel. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, just a touch of body, almost a bit light even, moving into oranges and grapefruit, some tropical essence and mangos. Middle throws some dryness, grass and florals, moving into a dry earthy finish with lingering florals and grass, touches of earth, some grapefruit and lemons. Finish is sufficiently bitter, the beer itself isn’t nearly as sweet as the nose let on.. As the beer is light bodied overall. Not bad, but a bit sweet considering it’s lack of body. gyllenbock (9284) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 25, 2011
On tap at the Brewpub, October 21, 2011.
Clear golden with a minimal white head. Fruity aroma with hops and some notes of malt. The taste was on the sweet side with fruit and some malt. Drinkable IPA but not the best one out there.
drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2011
draft a hay, pours golden white head. Nose is very fruity, juicy fruit, pine, and red plums. Flavors are rather sweet juicy fruit, cotton candy, and
blood oranges. Med body, a bit syrupy. Really on the sweeter side of
the ipa world in which I feel they serve no purpose. Wish pete’s ipas
weren’t mostly like these.
