Draft at brewery. The pour is a deep pink. The aroma is strong raspberries. The taste is mild on the raspberries, light and easy drinking. A good summer beer.

Wheat and other grain malts, raspberries. Hazy red, small, creamy, off-white head. Medium sweet. Very intense raspberries, sweet, molasses, sugars, overripe red berries, pale malts in the background, soft carbonation. OK Witbier, too sweet for my taste. Keg at brewpub, Chicago. charule (2302) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 25, 2015
On tap at Haymarket. Poured dirty brown red min white head. Aroma coyingly sweet raspberry juice. Light carb med bod. Tastes off and it lingers like raspberry powder drink mix. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 11, 2014

A very nice summer time beer, excellent taste and aromatic scent of rasberries and hops. Crisp and clean, this beer has a nice appearance...froathy head with a reddish/pale appearance. Refreshing after-taste for a fruity wheat beer. Pink Sock Monkey will be making a comback sooner rather than later.

On tap at Haymarket. Pours hazy pinkish gold with small white head. Aromas of raspberries and wheat. Flavors of fruity raspberries and some wheat. Mouthfeel was a tad watery. Tasty but not really my thing. Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 4, 2011
Pours a light cloudy pink in a sampler 4oz at hay market. Light aroma, hard to pick the raspberries out of the alcohol. Watery flavor, kind of a kook aid flavor. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Draft at Haymarket. Pours a murky amber with a pinkish hue. Nose is pretty basic. Biscuity grain is perceptible, along with some light raspberry jam notes as well. On taste, it is quite a dry beer, mini
Almsweetness and some tart berry notes. Not a lot of depth here, almost feel like it could use a bit more sweetness to round it out. Not bad, but not something I’m particularly interested in. Okay. chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Draft... Dark tangerine with a light tan head... Light nose, wheat a bit of wet grain, bitter fresh raspberries a bit generic but decent enough... Raspberries are the main player but come across much more generic and chemically, plain, easy to drink but a sample is more than enough TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 6, 2011
16 oz draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice well hazed murky berry amber hue, darker almost muddy wutht that pinkish crimson berry hue. A frothy decent sized offwhite head sits atop, dies to a small layer, soapy frothy lace. Aromas are flaked wheat and pulpy raspberries, dough and bread, some dry hops, a touch of bread yeast, some estery fruit. But the berry is rich and genuine, pulpy, maybe a touch tart. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, with some good raspberry, pulp, some seed with some good bread dough, flaked wheat, touch of yeast, dry subtle floral hops. Fairly crisp, clean, bready and cereal sweetness with lingering berry tannins, touches of pulpy sweetness, light tartness mellow and summery. Into the backend, the beer cleans up, a touch of dryness, faint soap, with light dryness. Fruit feels fairly real, as opposed to added flavoring. Some rich murk, sticks around a bit. Mellow but enjoyable. A nice fruit wheat, perhaps a bit dulled in exhuberance, but pretty nice. Not a favorite, but a solid summer fruited wheat beer.
