Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden straw color with a one finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Decent retention with sporadic streaks of soapy lacing clinging to the glass on the way down. Slightly earthy floral hop aroma with grassy saaz hops and and a pale biscuit malt backbone. Fresh cut grass and subtle pine needle followed by biscuit, bread/yeast and light fruit esters. Apple and pear sweetness countering the hoppy resins. Fuller body than expected with a crisp hop bite that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt backbone into a crisp, dry finish. String grassy saaz bitterness countered by some light fruit, bread and biscuit malt. Very sessionable without sacrificing mouthfeel or flavor.

At Haymarket. Pours light golden with a wheat aroma. Tastes of a classic Pilsner with that wheat metallic taste on the tongue with a dry grain taste finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

On tap at the brewery. Pours golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is of hops, yeast, straw, and bread. Taste is of yeast, wheat, bread, and lemon zest. Very light, crisp mouthfeel. Body is very carbonated. It’s a decent beer, that drinks easy.

brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 21, 2014
On tap @ Haymarket. Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Strong dough and bread malt aromas. A nice apple ester aroma, some biscuit, and plenty of grassy hops. A touch too bitter in terms of the flavor. Tons of grass and chalk. Good biscuit and bread sweetness, though. Some dough, apple, and a hint of yeast.
