Bottle share at Cotteridge II as Haywards 5000. Many thanks to the malt liquor appreciation society for providing this one. Pale yellow, clear, still, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is sickly sweet, corny, honey. Body is light-ish, soft carbonation. Taste is light and insipid, sweetcorn, sugary wet biscuit. Ych a fi.

Scopey (13554) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2016
Bottle thanks to Richy / Sarky / Boosty at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear gold with a medium+ white head. The aroma is simple, grainy, cracker, white bread and cereal. The taste is crazy sweet, sugary, sweet white bread, earth, dirty honey, sweetcorn and a sort of oiliness. Finish is sweet and sugary. Medium body and average carbonation. Damn this is sweet and filthy. A challenge to drink.

Leighton (19802) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2016
Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. What a treat! Huge thanks to MacBoost for this. Pours clear yellow with a white foam topping. The nose holds sugary cereal and white bread. Medium sweet flavour, with lots of sugary vanilla frosting, paper, cereal grains. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Cloying finish, lots more sugar, simple white bread. One of the lesser malt liquors tried on the day.

cadilhac (39) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 1, 2016
No head, aroma of caramel and boozy rhum. Taste is way too sweet to distinguish anything, maybe some wood. Aftertaste of alcohol once the sweetness fades. Overall some sugar packed sparkling drink with alcohol. Beer? No, not sure.

   AROMA 3/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 2/10   PALATE 1/5   OVERALL 3/20
McWorta (1594) - LUXEMBOURG - DEC 21, 2015
Clear deep yellow-golden colour with a small white head. Aromas of cereal, malt, caramel and metal off-flavour develops. Averagely carbonated, cloggingly slick with a alcohol laden body. Sweet is the main theme here. Clogging sweet finish.
