Bottle @ home, fucken a bronus courtesy of BlackIPA. Cheers bro! Pours a clear yellow appearance with a thin, disappearing white head. Big metallic, corny, grainy, boozy, light apple aroma. Watery yet tangy apple, chewy corn candy, metallic, herbal flavor. Not good.

Half liter bottle @ the Indian restaurant with lunch. Yum a dum dum! Clear golden pour with a short lived white head. Aromas of corn, booze, sugar, and apple juice. A bit of malt and grain. Light skunk. Flavor is quite sweet. Big sugar, corn grain, and apple juice notes. Light booze and skunk. Not good, but nowhere near the Old Monk.

8/26/13. Giant bottle at Passage 2 India. Love random ticks. Dark golden pour with a small off-white head. Light aroma, straw and floral aspects, a hint of apple, not nearly as offensive as expected. Light flavor, straw, hay, a touch of apple and floral aspects. Went down well with my spicy chicken vindaloo.

Clear straw with a small head that disappears quickly, no lace. There are fine bubbles rising, but nothing else of interest. Taste seems more like corn than malt, somewhat sweet; carbonation appears, but isnt able to balance. I suppose this would work on a hot day, but not if I am wanting to savor it. Not recommended.

Indeed, very pale in color with a decent head. Smells of brisk wet hay with a touch of candy. Medium nectar with good carbonation. A malty brew, slightly sweet. No bittering on the finish. Actually not bad when compared to those eastern european strong lagers. This one actually tastes fresh, not old world skanky.
