Notes from GABF. Can. Clear gold with a short white head. Saint lemon-pepper noble hops, mineral water / calcium, malt is faintly husky, corn-like, quiet but noticeable must / concrete off-notes. Medium-light bodied, light to moderate sweetness, chewy sugars are enjoyable, hops are overly bitter for balance, texture is lightly starchy. Finishes as cracked pepper, lemon, herbs, faint toasted grain, though not very complex, and there’s some coarseness to the carbonation. Still it’s a decent quaffer, slightly above average for American-made lager. bytemesis (8257) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 22, 2015
