2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. Empire State. Disappointing. Not much fruit. You kind of have to like really fizzy, pink lager to enjoy this one.
On tap at Heartland, Empire State, NYC. Pale golden in the glass, with a small, white head on top. Fruityness, white sugar and raspberry in the aroma, with a faint spiced hint in the far back. Might as well be the berries tricking me. It’s medium bodied, light and nicely carbonated, with a generic fruityness and some raspberry dominating the flavor, both initially and in the end. Pale malts too. Rather short finish. A refreshing one, but a tad boring I think. 150624 Meilby (11570) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 25, 2015

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, sweet raspberry, yeasty, citrus and ginger. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly dry, fruity and yeasty finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Draught. Hazy pale yellow with medium sized off-white foamy head, faint berry aroma, high carbonation, slightly sweet fruity taste, medium finish. Quite refreshing, very much champagne-like.

BEcause of the plethora of pumpkin beers I’ve had this fall, I’m going to stick my nose up at this one. Everything about this beer passed the pumpkin ale test, but it failed to amaze me. My wife digs the pumpkin beer so we both has this a few times on our visits to New York. Cloudy reddish amber colour. Meidum whitehead. Some initial clove, pumpkin and allspice on the nose . Taste was soft with the spices, not as much as i expected and was hoping for. Decent fruit and breadiness on the palate. But overall, just another passable pumpking brew. blipp (9504) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 8, 2009
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with notes of ginger. The flavor has ginger up front with a general berry sweetness. Pretty good. tgncc (3136) - Bellmore, New York, USA - OCT 31, 2009
Definite berries on the nose. Very sweet. The appearnce is a pale orange color, fizzy white head (like champagne). The flavor is strong berries, and a wheaty sort of spicyness. The finish is spicy, and a little sour (again like champagne). Not especially enjoyable, but not bad. mjs (7532) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 24, 2009
(Draught at HB Union Square) Golden and clear. Medium sized white head. Berries and particularly raspberry in aroma. Light bodied palate with sparkling carbonation. Malts, berries, raspberry, light sourness and lightly bitterness in taste. Berries and lighly malty aftertaste.
