5%ABV. hefeweizen. Tapped out cloudy gold. 5ºSRM. Nose is yeasty with canvas, stone dust, cellar mustiness. Hint of orange peel and citrus oil spice. Mouthfeel is beery. Palate is fruity, wheat flour, dough with a clean yeasty flavor. Spicy with coriander with a hint of spice and pepper. Finish is spicy and hoppy.

Part of a seasonal voyage platter at the Heartland Brewery and Chophouse, 43rd St, NYC. Pours cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of wheat, floral, and light spice. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, creamy texture, above average carbonation. So-so.

Fat @ Heartland, Empire State Bldg. Dimmigt gul med ett vitt skum. Dofter av malt, vete och bananskum. Smakinslag av vete, malt, citron och banan. Syrlig avslutning, torr munkänsla.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of wheat and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more wheat, malts, some citrus and a little fruitiness. Not bad.

Aroma is pretty bland. Taste is light on the wheat and not much citrus. Overall just OK.

On tap at Heartland, Empire State, NYC. It’s an unclear, straw yellow beer with a small, white head on top. Weak aroma, mostly on the fruity side, but with some piney hints in the back. The aroma has wheat in the back, with fruityness up front, some orange and a faint bitterness. It’s dry and medium bodied, nicely carbonated. Medium length finish. A refreshing and decent beer, but very far from interesting. 150624

A cloudy yellow beer with a weak white head and served with a lemon wedge. A light floral and lemony aroma, mainly because of the garnish! Medium mouthfeel. The taste is quite light, there is a mild hint of spice, and some fruit, the main flavour is the wheat. The finish is quite long and wheaty. Draught @ Heartland Brewery, 8th St. New York.

Trüb. Im Geruch nichts, im Geschmack dann muffig. Kein Weizengeschmack. Schade, passt nicht.

Vom Fass im Heartland Chophouse Times Square. Schmeckt nach gar nichts und hat auch keinerlei Aroma.

It had a lemon in it. That was the only good thing about it. Tastes like skunked lager. Had this on tap at Heartland Brewery in Times Square
