I had this beer a while back and from what I can remember I enjoyed it. I’ve had this at the pub/brewery so it was fresh.
Nothing special about it is popping into my head at the moment. Brandman (2962) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 23, 2010
Old scratches from US Trip. No verbal rating, just numbers. Just getting rid of these papernotes in my drawer. CUJO (383) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 14, 2009
sample: pours a cloudy golden rod... nose is all citrus and wheat. The taste was suprisingly strong, literally felt the banana then cloves roll across the tongue. However there was not much complexity here, very strong ingredients but very few. Overall a very decent brew. Pwn3d (1958) - Manhattan, New York, USA - SEP 26, 2009
On tap at rotisserie location under empire state. Strong hazy yellow orange color. Medium to medium full body. Wheat, clove, and spice. Better than I expected.

Draft. Pours unclear gold with a white head. Fruity banana aroma with a light spice. The flavor has banana, lemon, clove, and an off alcohol note that is only slightly off putting. Not bad. BREWMUSKCLES (2744) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 26, 2009
quite a pleasant hefe this beer is a beautiful lemon meringue, cloudy with white head and good aromas of spice and banana. pleasant yeast and well mixed spice that is not too strong or sweet with a touch of a nice rum alcohol and banana in wheat taste. light yet substantive with just enough yeast to keep it pleasant. can’t be a good session since it t is so very satisfying. quite nice! rugbydude05 (478) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2009
Pint on tap at Union Square. Pours a cloudy bright yellow color typical of a hefeweizen with large head. Aroma is very sweet like fruit and spicy, couldnt identify which spice. Flavor is nice and spicy but not too powerful. A little maltiness noted as well. Very tranquil flavor/palate, nice and smooth. Nothing special but not bad, especially for Heartland. tgncc (3145) - Bellmore, New York, USA - AUG 26, 2008
Aroma is very strong with clove, bananas, wheat. The appearance is very true to the style, a hazy golden color with white foam. The flavor has a strong taste of banans, and clove as well. The bananas dominate the flavor, and then the clove leaves a spicyness1 on the palate. Not my favorite style, but a good beer overall. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 16, 2001
Nice try but the sour citric flavor overwhelms the occasional clove/banana aroma and flavor. Still better than most with a nice spicy bite to it.
