A la pression au pied de l’empire state building. Une ipa plutôt bonne, pinte descendue en moins de temps qu’il ne faut pour le dire.

Part of a seasonal voyage platter at the Heartland Brewery and Chophouse, 43rd St, NYC. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Has a moderately hoppy floral aroma, with light caramel. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, above average carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub on 43rd St NYC on 11-Nov-2016. Hazy golden amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of malt, wheat, grapefruit and floral hops. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Refreshing, but a pretty average IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a golden copper color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, hops, grass and some pine. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, hops, some bitterness and a touch of sweetness. Good IPA.

Draft at the Heartland Brewers Port Authority. The ale poured a cloudy light Amber with an off white frothy head and lacing. You detect a hoppy aroma of citrus. The taste had more of the same with some roasted malt as well. A nice hop bitterness was experienced. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The finished cleanly with some lingering grapefruit bitterness.

On draft, 41st & 8th Manhattan location, served in a shaker glass. Pours cloudy deep copper color, two finger rocky head. Laces well with some retention. Aroma wildflowers and caramel. Taste is well balanced, slightly sweet, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sticky mouth feel. Finishes slightly bitter. Tasting notes of mango, orange, light pine and caramel. I enjoyed this, very drinkable.

Aroma is citrusy. Taste isn’t too bitter and has a nice balance of citrus. Overall a good IPA.

From tap. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small white head. Aroma is light hops with a hint of caramel malts. Taste was underwhelming with a mild hoppiness and slight bitterness. An ok beer but nothing exciting.
