Jimmack ’07. This poured with a brown body and small head. Nose was pumpkin and spice. Tasted spices and a bit off. Generally I dont like pumpkin ales for this reason. Thanks for sharing. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2007
Union Sq. Poured a clear orange copper color with a small off-white head. The aroma was of diacetyl soaked pumpkin. Light seasonal spice. The spices stood out more in the flavor then the diacetyl. Spicey almost tart finish. tgncc (3136) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 8, 2007
The beer has the orange appearance of a pumpkin, and it’s actually appealing. The aroma is dominated by pumpkin, nutmeg and spice. The flavor is malty. with clear pumkin influence. Slight hop biterness on the finish. One of the better pumpkin ales. microakes (160) - CANADA - SEP 8, 2007
Orange- amber colour. White head. The taste is so heavy on the pumpkin I thought it was an unsweetened pimpkin lambic. I tasted none of the spice that’s supposed to be there, leaving just a flat pumpkin taste. I’ve had water with more complexity. fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 9, 2007

Light amber color. The aroma has some fruitness, light ginger and some cinnamon. Some good malt taste, some sweetness, light pumpkin, some cinnamon. Pleasant.
Sampler at the Radio City location. Love the artwork they put together for this one. Pours a translucent golden with an average creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of you got it...pumpkin pie. As the description states the standard ginger, cinnamon, allspice thing going on. I did pick up the honey in both the aroma and flavor though which was a twist since most pumpkin ales don’t tend to have that touch. Flavor was very up front pumpkin pie spices with a touch of hop bitterness. Decent pumpkin ale...but nothing ground breaking. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - OCT 22, 2006
brewtopia 10/21/06 Aroma is pumpkin, spices, some malt. Taste is the same. decent pumpkin beer. TheBeerGod (6244) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - OCT 15, 2006
GABF 2006. Called Greenpoint Smiling Pumpkin. Orange body. Nose is pumpkin pie, light spices, cinnamon, and a hint of gingerbread. Taste is pretty much the same. It’s like drinking a pumpkin pie. Light spice, cinnamon, some gingery notes, and a touch of nutmeg. Body is light medium with a controlled carbonation feel on the palate. Ends with more pumpkin pie flavors and cotrolled spices. Light gingerbread. Nice stuff! GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2006
Draught sampler at Empire State Building location. A lot of people consider pumpkin beers to be little more than a gimmick, and I can’t always argue as some of them are pretty awful. But when they’re on, I really dig ’em - and this one is most definately on. Colour is a lovely autumn gold. Aroma holds lots of spice notes - nutmeg, clove, cinnamon - with some sweetness from the honeyed pumpkin. Flavour is like pumpkin pie in liquid form, but there’s also a good beer in there, and the flavours mesh perfectly. Sometimes the spicey sweetness of these beers can get cloying, but this one is well-balanced and refeshing. Very nice stuff. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 27, 2006
Clear orange, creamy white head. Nose held notes of warmed pumpkin pie and spicy cinnamon. Good spiced flavor throughout with just a touch of hop bitterness late. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, spiced bitter finish. It’s decent, but not a standout...
