Just like eating a slice of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, outstanding pumpkin flavors & not too overpowering either, decent lacy head, dark golden in color, great seasonal brew

Velvet, thin foam. Pumpkin orange. Cinnamon noses, tastes like pumpkin pie in the glass. Tangy. beervana (781) - Libertyville, Illinois, USA - DEC 6, 2005
On tap at Heartland Brewery, 51rd Street and 6th Avenue, NYC. Clear golden amber ale having small diminishing head. Nice spicy (allspice or nutmeg?) aroma. No discernable carbonation. Medium bodied ale that starts with a slightly sweet malt with notable nutmeg flavor and slight bitterness. Finishes slightly dry with average length light bitterness. A nice drinkable pumpkin beer that will make you smile. Goes well with BBQ ribs.

this was some good shit, my sister actually liked this and she does not like beer at all. very nice spicy aroma of all the things that make a pumpkin pie great. the body was full and malty, with lots of spices in it and a slight sweetness. excellent fall beer. Draught sampler at Empire State Building location. A lot of people consider pumpkin beers to be little more than a gimmick, and I can’t always argue as some of them are pretty awful. But when they’re on, I really dig ’em - and this one is most definately on. Colour is a lovely autumn gold. Aroma holds lots of spice notes - nutmeg, clove, cinnamon - with some sweetness from the honeyed pumpkin. Flavour is like pumpkin pie in liquid form, but there’s also a good beer in there, and the flavours mesh perfectly. Sometimes the spicey sweetness of these beers can get cloying, but this one is well-balanced and refeshing. Very nice stuff. rugbydude05 (478) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - OCT 24, 2008
Tap at Union Square. Pours a light rusty color, fantastic aroma of spices and pumpkin. Taste is mildly bitter, sweet and spicy. Fuller body than the rest of the heartland brews. Average palate, no aftertaste. BrewBoxer (2653) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2011
Draft. Not my favorite style, but this is quite good. Lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, carmel and honey. Taste is the same. Very malty and easy drinking Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2013
