Bottle during RBWG. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is bourbon and roast. Thick mouth, roast, vanilla, caramel, nice booze presence, very good. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 9, 2015
From notes. Tasted on 9/16/12 from a capped 12oz bottle, thanks to Curtis for sharing. Pours nearly opaque dark brown with a thin tan head that leaves very thin, bubbly lace. The nose is fairly hot and very malty with tons of caramel, toffee, bourbon, and an old hops aroma. The flavor is all about the sweet malty caramel, toffee, and a bit of a toasted note, with nice brown sugar bourbon and just a bit of bitterness from the same older hops from the nose. The body is full and oily with average carbonation and a long, lightly bitter and bourbon barrel finish. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle generously shared at RBWG. Pours a hazy brown with a white head. Nose is port, sherry, some oak, slight oxidation, some prune, and some fruitiness. Flavor follows- aging like a nice port- nice fruitiness too. Medium in body and very complex. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 30, 2013

Take a moment from time to time to remember that you are alive. I know this sounds a trifle obvious, but it is amazing how little time we take to remark upon this singular and gratifying fact. By the most astounding stroke of luck an infinitesimal portion of all the matter in the universe came together to create you and for the tiniest moment in the great span of eternity you have the incomparable privilege to exist.

Bottle at RBWG. Nose shows lots of oxidation, sweet malt, brown sugar. Flavor is also lightly sweet, barrel is more toned down with age, lots of brown sugar, lightly oxidized flavor. I probably like this more now than I would have enjoyed in fresh. drowland (8829) - Georgia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
2/23/13. RBWG. Thanks, Preben! Amber pour, small khaki head. Nice BA aroma, sweet caramel and wood, with some barrel. Nice flavor that parallels with a touch of oxidation. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2012
12oz bottle (thanks Josh for sharing!). Poured a deeper mahogany color with an off white head. Aromas of roast, bourbon, some smokiness, and some earth. Tastes of dark fruits, caramel, molasses, bourbon, brown sugar, and wood. On the sweeter side with the alcohol content well hidden. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2011
