Mmmm, Vienna...! Not often I drink one of these. This was nice a crisp with enough maltyness to make it near perfect. Hints of citrus, grass, sugars, and a light hop note. Good stuff!! craftycarl21 (2339) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 23, 2013
Bottle thanks to GT2. Amber colored pour, smallish white head. Nose and flavor show that it’s definitely an American hopped German style beer; more grass and light citrus bitterness than spicy, floral noble characteristics. Nice spicy, almost rye-like malt profile. Smooth and crisp. Very well done. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Bottle at home after a long day at work. Pour is clear amber with a fluffy off-white head and great lacing. Snappy, crackers, toffee, grassy, slightly fruity, husky, and caramelly aroma. Taste is chewy malt, toffee, cookie, light grass, slightly floral, slightly toasted cracker, and oranges with a crisp bitter finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Clean and easy drinking lager but not quite up to their pilsener’s standard. Brentv (682) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Pours a beautiful amber with thin head and lacing. Grassy aroma with caramel and some toffee. Taste is moderately sweet with a bitter hoppy finish. Nice easy drinker. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - APR 14, 2014
From bottle. Clear amber golden color with plenty of bubbles. Aroma is caramel malt, grassy hops, and hay. Taste is caramel, toffee, biscuit, grass, and a light citrusy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, with a good balance of sweet malts and light bitterness.

Thanks to Eugene for sharing this. Clear amber, white head. Caramel, toast, biscuit. Light body, lively carb, short finish, crisp and flawless as Heater Allen is.

Beautiful amber with a white head. Aroma is more floral hop than I was expecting with light toasted malt. Some bread, and pine. Flavor is heavier on the pine in the floral notes, a bit of lightly caramel malt, toasted malt. A very hop driven Vienna Lager. Highly enjoyable beer but I could use a slightly stronger maltbackbone BuckeyeBoy (8293) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 27, 2017
