Another huge thanks to Joel at Corvallis Brewing Supply for this beer. Dark amber color with spices, malt and some nuttiness to it. The sweetness of the malt was great along with the spices made this a perfect beer for Christmas. The mouthfeel was medium and well balanced. Again this was a great beer
On tap at belmont station.Poured in a nice cylindrical glass and just looked gorgeous, the dark brown red and dark tan head, aromas of toffee, sawdust, dark chocolate. flavors of roast malt, brown sugar & alcohol.
very smooth, as is the natures of porters, which are not my faves. sweet finish. Errl (2442) - Plano, Texas, USA - AUG 5, 2015

Dark brown body with a quarter inch of viscous beige cap. Aromas include ample chocolate, roast, melted milk chocolate. Smooth body with soft carbonation. Lingering chocolates, mildly sweet. Pretty good, albeit one dimensional. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 24, 2015
Bottle. Mahogany beer with a dark cream head. Light roast and caramel aroma. Caramel and dark fruit flavor with light roast. Medium bodied. Caramel and dark fruit linger with light dried fruit and light roast. bpreo (2840) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 18, 2015
2014 batch. I haven’t had a new Baltic Porter in years, so I am looking forward to the first taste. It’s very good, rich, dark, heavy, clean tasting, with none of that funkiness you get from the Polish bottles. It must be the Oregon water.

Bottle from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head and a chocolate and treacle aroma. There is a chewy dark molasses flavor that is a little smoky with a thick slightly bitter finish. Very tasty but a lttle light on the body. bhensonb (15194) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 23, 2015
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and dark malt. Not a very sweet aroma. Med + body. Flavor is dark fruit and dark malt. Maybe a hint of smoke and or coffee. Nice drink, but it might be fun as an imperial. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 18, 2015
The beer is coffee black. Dark brown at the edges. Smallish tan head. Dissipates to a film of bubbles after a couple minutes. Some lacing. The aroma is cocoa powder, caramel/toffee and some dark fruity flavors. There’s a pleasant nutty character with mild spice. Roast is quite mild. The taste starts sweet with rich toffee-ish maltiness. Milder chocolate than in the aroma. More fruitiness - apples, grapes. The beer is nice and clean and stays well away from cloying territory. Mild roast acidity and a touch of hop bitterness in the finish cuts off the sugary flavors. Smooth and full. Lots of flavor for the abv with well-hidden booze. Very well made. Heater Allen is an excellent brewery. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 18, 2015
22 oz. bottle. It pours a dark brown color with a small light tan head. The aroma is sweet caramel apple, plum, cocoa powder and roasted malt. The flavor is more fruity with rich figgy raisin bread, black cherry cola, hints of roasted malt and black currant-like bitterness in the finish. Mildly acidic with lower than normal carbonation and a medium body. After finishing the bottle, I was glad this was on the lower end of the ABV spectrum. Pretty tasty and very drinkable. Very dark brown beer..almost black in the center of the glass. Head is huge and creamy light tan coloured.
Great malty/nutty/cream aromas..also getting some of that Lindt Dark chocolate and sea salt thing.
Taste is very similar to the aroma but the Dark chocolate/sea salt aspect is greater..which i like.’
Really good mouth feel this is a heavy beer but the palate was light, smooth, silky but never watery.
Very nice Baltic..will have again.
