COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Malts: British Pale Ale Malt, Cara Malt, Malted Wheat. Heather, Bogmyrtle.
The Brotherhood have been guardians of the ancient Gaelic recipe for "leann fraoich" (heather ale) since 1988 and are proud to be the only brewery still producing this unique style of beer and distributing it world wide. A light amber ale with floral peaty aroma, full malt character, and a spicy herbal finish - This beer allows you to literally pour 4000 years of Scottish history into a glass.
Into the boiling bree of malted barley, sweet gale and flowering heather are added, then after cooling slightly the hot ale is poured into a vat of fresh heather flowers where it infuses for an hour before being fermented.

Tompa, azonnal pusztul habbal. Illata szeszes, gygynvnyes malts. Kis idő elteltvel finoman jn ki a hanga aromja. A vge szraz erőtlen. Sokkal tbbet vrtam. :((

light amber color, slight floral note, very smooth, thin texture. I was expecting more complex, maybe as my palate is now tilted to the more hoppy side of things. This is light smooth drinking beer, but not complex or tasty. I give average. This is my first Fraoch style

Pours a light amber, with a white head. Very floral and malty sweet. Notes of honey, peat and some herbs. Smooth mouth feel, taste of malt, herbs, honey, heather and some spices. no hops and no bitterness which is a bit weird but its different and very traditional. Nice.

Agréable en bouche et léger a boire, cette bière présente des arômes de poivres et de coriandre. Par contre, arrière gout déplaisant en fin de bouche et gagnerait a avoir plus de corps et a être davantage effervescente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Неплохо. После Ханс энд Грют эль ожидал худшего. А так в принцип& похоже не хороший английс& пэйл эль.

330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear deep golden colour; One quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Very good sticky lacing barely notable slight carbonation; Fairly fragrant and sweet aroma of malt, with caramel, toffee, strong honey, strong floral, sugar, strong herbs, bread, light citrus and grass; Close to medium sweet taste of malt, with light grains, red fruits, light caramel, light floral, molasses, light herbs, bread, light lemon, very light bitter hops and thin grass; Close to light body. Thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is fair amber maltyness in a watery background. Slightly grainy with omnipresent fruit feel of red fruits and light berries. Light caramel and floral, fair sweetness, bready with some light herbal and lemon to round. Not bad Hoppiness is strong floral, strong herbs, light citrus and grass in nose. Same in taste but a lot lighter; Bitterness is very light for an abrupt, very low-fi herbal sweet malt finish; Slightly dry after taste. Light herbal and easy to mouth.

Comments: Wanna try this one for a long time and finally got the chance: light but intriguing floral herbal aroma, and taste is light and somewhat underwhelming, due to use of gruits instead of hops. Easy to have and almost faultless, but not something that will make you wow.

Degustate in bottiglia da 33 centilitri. Allaspetto giallo chiaro, buona schiuma, abbastanza persistente. Mediamente carbonata, gusto fresco. Il sapore fluttua tra due poli il fruttato che ci sembrava fragola invece sembra sia mirto e lerbaceo che avevamo identificato come un eucalipto invece sembra sia Erica. Caratteristica ma poco consona al nostro gusto.

Pours amber, clear, ring of white head. Sweet floral aroma. Flavor is vegetal and a bit soapy, but not in a bad way. Mellow.

Yellow with no head. Aroma is malty and a bit herbal. Smells (and tastes a bit) like the mash stage of whiskey. Tastes like it has undertones of honey, and the herbal/heather flavor is pleasant. Sweet without being sticky.
