TASTE: roasted malt and corn, some sweetness, smokey, tobacco, toast, some citrus and tartness, aged cheese. On cask, Ginger Man Boston. Deep copper colour, white foam. Quite malty, slightly crystal flavour, sweet background. Oily nice hop, some pine, some tropical fruit and berries. Defined bitterness, not obvious at first. Unusual one, not bad. Ericular (1048) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 5, 2017
Light flavor, thinner, slight bitter/sour. Not as flavorful as I like in a strong IPA. Chalumeaux (1947) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 14, 2017

Pale orange with a nice head and lacing. Slightly hazy. On the nose a most interesting array of herbal, resinous hops and evident clove, bubblegum, banana and vanilla notes. There are some cheesy or basement things wafting as well. On the palate it is round, silky and full and very slightly bitter that is attenuated by the maltiness. Interesting. Not something I would personally go out and buy but unique. john44 (3544) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2017

BB backlog, Bottle, clear copper color with average 1-2 finger head. Notes of pine, flowers, spice, dry malt, and other grains. A decent balance of malt and hops in this pale ale. Tap at J’s. Clearish gold with little to no head. Light tropical nose, caramel and malt. Clean and well-balanced, but slightly syrupy with a honey and caramel like mouthfeel. Low carbonation with a soft mouthfeel. A tad boozy on the finish. ebone1988 (2343) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - OCT 19, 2016
Aroma is fruity, tropical fruit, malt, citrus, pine, bready. Appearance is amber golden, off white head, mostly clear. Taste is bready, malt, pine, citrus, tropical fruit, really really malty. Mouthfeel is medium body, light crisp carbonation, bready sweet malt aftertaste. Overall, eh. Way too malty.
