12 oz bottle. Translucent orange with a short white head. Light lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus, flowers, and hops. Light body, juicy, oily. Oranges, really mild hop bitterness. Sugary malts, touch of pepper. OrthoDoc (189) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 29, 2015
Fresh bottle, great hop aroma, mostly mild pine, moderate citrus, with some sweet. Great taste with perfect bitterness and hop balanced with delicious sweet malt. Awesome beer. Like a bells two hearted but more flavorful, sweet, and hoppy. Piney finish and after tasted.

12 oz bottle served in a Sam Adams lager glass. Feb. 2012 date. (from 2011 notes).
This pours a light orange-amber, with a moderate but durable bone head. The head leaves a good bit of sticky lacing. The beer is slightly hazy, and there was some sediment left in the bottom of the ’emptied’ bottle. Visible carbonation all the way to the end.
The sweet citrus and herbal nose is very pleasant and very consistent with the flavor. The flavor is, of course, not sweet, but it is not very bitter either. There is a big, balancing malt component in this IPA.
Feel: good medium+ carbonation; near medium body.
O: a very drinkable IPA with a substantial sweet malt balance making this drink more like a pale ale. In fact, I’ve had pale ales that were more hoppy. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Pours a light amber color with a lacy white head. Notes of burnt bread, orange citrus, some grass, and brown sugar. jflopsu (1614) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2015
Pours a clear amber-orange. Has a really sweet aroma of apples and other fruity hops. A stronger fruity flavor than expected, but also with some caramel, malts, and some hops.

Draft at the Irish Pol. Crystal clear dark orange amber. Soapy white head. Light splashes of lace. Not much aroma (when cold). Medium body. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Simcoe hops are most forward. Earthy leafy citrus. Oranges spiked with cloves. Forest floor. Thistles. Baby pinecones. Truffles. Dried tangerine peels. Gently sweet. Faint toffee. Black peppercorns. Smooth spicy finish. Very nicely constructed hop brew. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - SEP 6, 2015
Quite interesting. BItter yes, but also creamy and somewhat sweet, probably due the fact it was high in alcohol abv. The_Osprey (7980) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2015
Cask at GBBF. Dark amber orange, slight haze, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is apple, toffee, resin, sherry. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is Starburst sweets, light mango and cheese powder, citrus. Not bad. geeklimit (292) - USA - AUG 29, 2015
Pours a clear orange amber, minimal carbonation and thin head. Strong a idic fruit hops aroma. Balanced floral and fruit hops taste, effervescent and clean mouthfeel. Slight grapefruit majority. Pleasant and warm aftertaste. Scopey (14699) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, juicy, oily, pine, peach, apricot, fruit and mild toffee. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, oily, resin, brown bread, apricot, cracked peppercorn and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Works pretty well on cask. Smooth, juicy and easy-going.
