(bottle - 22 oz) Clear copper pour with a thick white head. Thick and heavy bourbon and oak aroma with a lot of caramel malt sweetness. A lot of vanilla as well. Flavor starts out with a sweet bourbon taste. The bourbon is definitely potent and noticeable, but at the same time it’s not the only thing you taste. You get the sweetness from the malts and the vanilla and wood hints as well. Finishes smooth with a nice and warming bourbon aftertaste. RickTStiles (826) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2010

Courtesy of markwise. It pours clear mahogany with tan head. The aroma starts with sweet bourbon and then moving toward mildly harsh boozy bourbon as well as prunes, figs, raisins, molasses and some heat at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth sweet inviting molasses, caramel, vanilla, sweet bourbon, spicy oak, raisins, figs and a thin strata of dates. Yummy. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2010

Had this side by side with the regular version. Pours cloudy caramel color with thin tan head, Aromas of bourbon, dark fruits and vanilla. Similar flavors with the bourbon dominating. Medium to full body with minimal carboantion. This was much better than the original version. Beerdedone (3401) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head that left nice lacing. Sweet bourbon aroma with caramel, vanilla and fruit. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and nice carbonation. Flavor was bourbon, vanilla, caramel, oak and toffee with a warming alcohol finish. TheGB (578) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 29, 2012
2010 version from Market Street Wine. Pours cloudy brown with almost no head. Aroma of caramel, molasses, sweet malt and hops. Medium to full bodied with a smooth palate that blends the sweet malt with bourbon. Tasty, the bourbon taste has probably mellowed since it’s the 2010. dark caramel color, small head and not much lacing... notes of vanilla, butterscotch, caramel, some dark fruit, candied goodness both on the nose and tongue... low carbonation, full bodied and syrupy, almost port-like...
