22 oz. bottle from Oliver’s Beverage Center. An unclear golden in color and with a small, white head, light lace. The flavor is sweet malt, dried fruits, Belgian yeast and the brown sugar gives the flavor an interesting aspect. I also taste ginger, chamomile and pears. This aged nicely with no ABV in the flavor. I enjoyed a lot. superspak (6000) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - APR 23, 2013
22 ounce bottle into chalice, 2012 bottling. Pours moderately cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger foamy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pear, apple, orange peel, chamomile, brown sugar, honey, biscuit, clove, light pepper, floral, and herbal earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of fruity/spicy esters with malt and spice notes. Taste of apple, pear, orange zest, chamomile, brown sugar, honey, biscuit, clove, light pepper, floral, and herbal earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, citrus, chamomile, clove, honey, brown sugar, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice balance and complexity of spicing with fruity/spicy ester flavors; with very balanced malt sweetness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent spiced Tripel style. Great balance and complexity of spice/ester flavors with malt sweetness; and quite smooth to sip on. Really enjoyed this one. I wasn’t too big on this beer. It was very dry with a wispy off white head and a lot of bread flavor BeerandBlues2 (13806) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 20, 2013

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy amber color. The nose is yeasty with overripe orange notes. The flavor has a slight medicinal quality to it with yeast and dough fighting for dominance over the fermented orange notes. There is a odd bitterness lingering on the back end. Despite only being 8%, I feel like the alcohol is a little obvious. Not one I would go back to. SSSteve (4006) - - OCT 7, 2012
22oz bottle. hazy gold with almost no head. tart pineapple and soft peach aromas with white wine. pineapple flavor with some heat and odd herbal character in finish. medium body. unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - OCT 4, 2012
22oz bottle. Pale, blonde color. Thin white ring. Sweet aroma. Scents of pears and lemon zest. Distant honey. Tastes better than the smell. Sweet flavor, a touch of sweet tropical juice, pineapple sugars, floral notes, light grains. Very sweet, boozy finish. Loads of tropical fruit character. Bottle. Pours a very hazy golden color with a small head. Very floral and sweet in the nose to this, which I’m not a huge fan of. Very sweet in the taste, which is not a good thing as I don’t like this yeast. Bleh. Gachupines (1252) - USA - SEP 7, 2012
Hazy straw gold with a decent white head. Aroma is orange peel with some slight spice, notably cinnamon. Flavor is both light and refreshing while oddly confused. Overall the combination doesn’t work but it isn’t outright horrible. Orange peel is a little overwhelming and the finish is a little off putting. Not bad, but I wouldn’t recommend or pick out again.
