COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smoke On The Water is a rich and complex porter. The subtle smokey flavor comes from the use of smoked malt. Try it with anything that’s been cooked on a grill or smoker to compliment the flavor.

Pours as dark a black as I’ve ever seen with a small dark brown head which dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma isn’t very large, some sweetness and a faint liquorice. Taste is very good, quite subtle and very well balanced. Begins with a flavor similar to the liquorice aroma but without the sweetness, then turns into a very nice beery maltiness from the beer being a porter, and finishes with a perfectly not overpowering smokey malt flavor that is full bodied and leaves you wanting another sip. Very impressive beer

Dark pour with a light tan head, good lacing. Bready aroma. Sweet malt flavor with a good medium thick mouthfeel that melts into a smokiness that is not overwhelming. Finishes slightly bitter.

Very nice. Dark brown, almost black, beer with a thick, off-white head. Strong aromas of peat, and dark coffee. Tastes of dark chocolate/coffee, mixed with roasted barley, and subtle smokiness. This beer is sweeter than other smoked beers, but it works. Bittersweet finish, velvety smooth. Very enjoyable.

Bomber from Chevy Chase in DC. Very dark brown color with a small light tan head. Smoky and roasty aroma with a chocolatey earthiness. The flavor has a medium level of smoke, well-balanced with a roasty porter/stout base. Medium-plus bodied with medium-low carbonation. Pretty solid smoked porter.

Bomber. Great porter. The smoked aroma is mild and covered by chocolate but really comes out in the taste / swallow. Full body, smooth, -- excellent palate. I’m not a huge fan of smoked styles so I look forward to trying the porter without, if available.

Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of dark fruits, sugar and a hint of smoke. Not much smoke flavor. Raisin and sugar flavors with some roasted malts. Medium body with minimal carbonation. A nice porter that’s a bit too sweet for me.

Tap. Pours black with a medium, creamy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is light smoke, dark chocolate and roast malt, light spicy hops, and dark fruit notes. Flavor is wood, smoke, dark malt, bitter hops and malt with a dry finish. Medium-full body, medium warmth and carbonation.
