Pours amber but more on the orange side with a small cream colored head.Aroma is spicy, yeasty and bitter but not heavy at all.Good flavors but more on the spice then the pumpkin side. Nimrod979 (212) - Hagerstown, Maryland, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Bottle. Pours a nice translucent orange with an average bubbly white head.
Spicy pumpkin aromas. Sweet nutmeg aromas.
Big malty flavors at first. Spicy cinnamon, clove and pumpkin flavors. And a bit of nutty sweetness before washing down with a slight bit of bitter hoppiness to it. Also a slight tinge of alcohol gives it a little heat to add to the spice.
Medium bodied. with a creamy and soft texture. A little watery diminishes the finish but a pretty solid pumpkin ale. A little unique with a more hoppy finish than you would really expect in a pumpkin beer. Onslow (1521) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Pour from a 22 oz bottle. Hazy orange brew with frothy head. Aroma dominated by spice - cinnamon, nutmeg, clove. Taste is nice malts and hints of pumpkin at first, transitioning to a full spicey witches brew. If you like spice this is for you - no fake ’atomic fireball’ stuff here - you can tell it is brewed with fine spices. But, if like me, you don’t care for spice except as a flavor enhancer... or spice melange... well, not so great. Palate is a little watery. Great for the spice lovers. redtechnj (315) - Williamstown, New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2011
Apperance- Hazy, dark amber color with a nice, fizzy off-white head.
Aroama- Allspice, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon
Flavor- Pumpkin, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Malt, light biitter & alcohol finish. emarkd (100) - Georgia, USA - OCT 26, 2011
Bomber. Pours slightly hazy orange color with smallish white head. Aroma is mostly spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, with some biscuity malt background. Tastes mostly spicy, sweet caramel also with just a hint of pumpkin/squash/earthy notes. Not very pumpkin, but the spice profile is there. Good, but not great.

Aroma is very sweet. Appearance is burnt orange with little to no head. Taste starts sweet with a bitter finish. It’s almost as if a sweet pumpkin - ie Pumpking meets a more traditional & bitter pumpkin. Overall, a tasty brew and a nice effort from Heavy Seas. Cybercat (6009) - Georgia, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Malty aroma has a firm overtone of pumpkin and cinnamon - very October indeed. It pours a slightly hazy coppery amber with a thin pale pumpkin-orange head, but the condition of the head may be an artifact of the pour. Lip-smacking malty flavor has firm tones of pumpkin and cinnamon with hints of cloves and fruit and a bit of an alcohol nip. Texture has above average body and is smooth with a subtle fizz, leaving an edgy, malty, pumpkin finish. Perfect for this time of year! jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - OCT 21, 2011
22oz bottle plenty of spice in the nose but also a bit of pale lager smell taste is okay nothing special scottw86 (1178) - Maryland, USA - OCT 21, 2011
Poured a slightly red amber color with a thin off-white head that faded quickly. Aroma has lots of pumpkin and spices. Nutmeg and almonds. Taste is very creamy with lots of pumpkin and more nutmeg. Finish is a bit hoppy with more spices and some warming alcohol. Overall it’s slightly sweet, but the balance is still good. The finish is a little syrupy however. Overall a decent pumpkin beer. Bomber from Capone’s. Pours copper with nose of pumpkin spice, puree, cinnamon. Tastes of smooth pumpkin, spices, malt.
