Drake (14036) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Bomber from Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA, opened 6/28/11. This has a bit of age on it. Pours a hazy orange color with gobs of floating matter. Large creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, squash, clove and other spices. The taste is pumpkin, brown sugar, pie spices, a bit of squash. Medium-full bodied. Cracking this the wrong season, but its quite nice.

BeerandBlues2 (13645) - Escondido, California, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Cask at Churchkey. Pours clear copper-amber with no head. Aroma is huge spice nose, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and allspice, pumpkin and bubble gum notes. Flavor is huge spice, lightly peppery, moderate malt, and a dry finish. Full body, medium warmth, low carbonation.

3.7
Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2009
This brew pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Pumpkin spices in the nose along with some malt and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of pumpkins and nutmeg on top of hops and malt. The finish is a concoction of nutmeg, clove and pumpkins with a moderately bitter hops aftertaste. Decent beer overall that doesn’t delve very far into the pumpkin patch.

Bottle courtesy of Justin. Pours a just clear orange, with a slight touch of haze under a medium sized beige head. Spice, a bit of pumpkin and vanilla. Medium bodied and smooth. Spicy light bitter finish. Pretty good, but the bourbon version was much nicer.

hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2009
On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium and hazy orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of pumpkins and pumpkin spices. Tastes of the same pumpkin, spices, and pumpkin pie. This one definitely has the spices in it. Spicy and medium alcohol finish.

"this one was intriguing...an imperial pumpkin. maybe it would have the body and backbone sorely lacking from too many of the pumpkin ales out there. it smelled similar, but stronger, the abv making it’s presence known. the flavor also had a creamy aspect to it...like pumpkin pie a la mode...i imagine similar to Pumking based on it’s rep. It was quite good, and lingered, with a big body and creamy feel to back it up. good stuff."

deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Bottle shared with others. Poured a clear deep orange with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of strong intense spice that overwhelmed any other note trying to come through. Flavor was similar with over powering cinnamon and other spices dominating the whole beer and note allowing the pumpkin to come through.

3.2
madsberg (11774) - Søborg, DENMARK - APR 23, 2010
Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma of pumpkin, sweetness, ´spice and fruits. Flavour of pumpkin, fruits, spice, herbs and some light sweetness. medium bodied. Dry fruity end.
