Slightly sweet with a complex malty flavor. The spicy flavor comes from our unique blend of Trappist yeast and Belgian candi sugar - making it both aromatic and flavorful. It will benefit with aging up to two years. VINTAGE DATED.

Bottle. Candied orange/cherry, toffee malt and alcohol aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet orange pulp, yeast, toffee malt, and lightly bitter herb and alcohol flavor. Don’t think aging helped this much.

Patrickctenchi (6691) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle: pours clear copper with a small beige head. Spiced apple, plum scent. Taste is sweet, sugary, fruit cake. Orange malt, Belgian yeast. Good spiciness...but almost achingly sweet.

PhillyCraft (7717) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2014
Backlogged review, bottle with Fantasia drank in 2011. Orange color pour with small to medium head. Notes are boozey fruit cake, Belgian malt, Christmas spice, plums, figs and grain. Over carbonated and boozy for my taste.

two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Hazy copper. Thick foamy head. Looks great. Fruity aroma and taste of apricot. Not my favorite.

Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Deep orange with very thin head, slight lacing. Not as carbonated as I typically like my trippels to be. Belgian candied sugar is evident, very sweet. Trappist yeast gives it the needed Belgian feel. Not much of an aroma. Okay for the style.

Iphonephan (7192) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Shared from a 22 oz bottle shared on Christmas Day. Aged two years. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Bread dough and orange peel in the nose. Quite sweet. Strong carbonation.

DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Overall quality is poor, a big beer 10% abv with too much fusel alcohol and rough flavors to cohesively recognize as a quality tripel.

Dfonorow (2250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Hazy copper in appearance with a small off-white head. Aroma is of dried fruits, spicy yeast, and candi sugar. Flavor has a nice subtle bready yeast backbone throughout. Dried fruits and sugary malts peak through as well. Medium to heavy bodied, good carbonation levels.

gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2012
Bottle. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hop, yeast, malt, caramel, alcohol, sugar. Flavour is hop, yeast, malt, apricot, caramel, alcohol, sugar. OK beer.

drowland (8939) - Georgia, USA - MAY 30, 2012
5/30/12. 22oz bomber. Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head. Huge fruity aroma with bits of sour and candy sugar. Tamer flavor with more fruitiness and bold malt and sugar. A tad sweet and fruity.
