Cask at GBBF ’13, 13/08/13.
Pitch black with a thin tan head that clears to the edge.
Nose is a big oaky bourbonic hit, light roast, sugars.
Taste bourbon soaked oak is well evident, dark sugars, dark toffee, light chocolate.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the finale with a dry finish.
An ok BA impy offering but lacks a little in balance, the bourbon is a little harsh and over intense over time. EdKing (2586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
