Fruit and caramel malt aroma. Mild hazy amber color with a razor thin head. Straight forward bitterness but isn’t overpowering. Balanced with a faint caramel malt character. Hints of rye on the palate too. matty (415) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2015
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with just a covering of white foam. Aroma is faint, but what is there is caramel with some British hops. Medium light body, taste is a little hop forward, but not much. Some sweetness in the background. Finish is fairly clean, a touch of bitterness. Easy drinking, average for the style. Pours lightly hazy orange-amber with a 1-finger off-white head. Mild aroma of citrus hops with caramel underneath. Body is a touch lighter than medium, with a touch of fizziness and a dry finish. Mild flavor of piney hops up front, with caramel and biscuit malt notes beneath. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 18, 2015

Pretty sweet and malty. Not really my thing. Drinks kind of heavy and sugary.

i like it. the sour mash and lower hop flavor the beer is nicely malty unpretensious and quenching. it is flavorful and leaves you wanting more. although it seems something is missing i think its just my jaded tastebuds learning to appreciate again. old ale character with easy booze that you cant even tell. big old flavorful session. solidfunk (8953) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 6, 2015
OK for style, meaning this is properly boring but easy to drink. Dark amber pour with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Some mash malt. Some light citrus peel, but not super well integrated. Tap at Rosslyn brewpub. trapped (3147) - New York, TURKEY - JUL 2, 2015
Cask @ Albion. Murky dark amber with medium sized beige foamy head, doughy aroma, sweetish taste, low carbonation, thin body, long bitter finish. Typical bitter.
