Bottle pour at Rocket City Brewfest. Coudy yellowish amber with a slight head. Rich aroma of spices, orange and cut grass. Strong flavor - lots of orange up front with spice and a grassy taste. Very rich, slightly bitter with a nice yeasty aftertaste. Very interesting beer. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2016
Lightly hazed golden body, playfully effervescent, a pillowy whitish head holds. Plenty of orange and coriander in the aroma, lemongrass and a field of wildflowers follows. As I sipped, it was like I was taking roll-call of my tastebuds. Citrus? Here. Banana yeastiness? Here. Grassy bitterness? Here. Candi sugar? Here. Esters? Esters? Esters? The only thing missing was any noticeable alcohol from this 7%+ beer. I can only imagine the extensive test batches that were created before Heavy Seas put their stamp of approval on this complex and delicious recipe. Tastebuds = happy. Class dismissed... time for another Riptide. ~~~~ 12 oz. bottle, purchased "somewhere in Baltimore" (according to my wife). jsmerig (1615) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Pours a hazy orange yellow with an off-white foamy head. Floral, citrus and spicy notes mix together to give a distinct Belgian tone. The taste is smooth sweetness upfront followed by floral and dry citrus notes. Finishing with a peppery finish. Complex and interesting. Good once and a while.

Pours a beautiful hazy, orange golden color with just a fingers worth of foam. Loose white bubbles that fell quickly to a thin film and ring. Fine lace covers the entire glass. Very pretty. Nose is a blend of hop delight and Belgian character. Yeast, spice and herbal. There’s ripe peach, a little tangy, some tangerine, pepper to tickle the nose and floral. Malt is sugary and bright. Toasted. There’s a hint of corriander and it reaches complex. The taste is an outrageous combination of two worlds. Hop forward, your first sip greets you with delicious ripe fruit. Plenty juicy and sweet. Peach, tangerine and some pink grapefruit. There’s a hint of tartness. Then the light sweet bread from the malt comes over the mid palate to bring a supple wheat dryness. The body is smooth, lush and vibrant. It’s even kind of creamy and the carbonation is soft. The kick you get is from the yeasty spice and the pepper. The slight sour from the yeast and the wheat dryness are a perfect match for the sweet fruit. It finishes with a moderate bitter, semi dry and with a light pine resin. Herbal with plenty of wheat and light bread. superspak (5678) - Michigan, USA - JUL 20, 2013
What a delectable beer. It’s spirited. Rambunctious but not overly forceful or conceited. It’s the happy collision of two fantastic worlds where the characteristics of an IPA meet a proper Belgian. Poised and unique this is my first white IPA and I love the style. It’s graceful but fun loving.
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/2013. Pours very cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, pear, apple, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, pepper, floral, grass, wheat, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of yeast and hop notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, clove, light banana, pepper, floral, grass, light pine, wheat, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, citrus peel, coriander, clove, light banana, pepper, floral, grass, wheat, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of hop, spice, and yeast ester flavors; with a solid malt backbone and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice White IPA! All around nice balance and complexity of hop, spice, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to drink. Really enjoyed this one.

Tap pour - @ JoJo's. Pours hazy yellow-gold, nice big fluffy head, thick and lasting. Nice mix of spice, bananas, and hops on the nose. Citrus. Saison on the taste, white pepper, clove, oranges with spice and good hoppy bitter finish. Lighter bodied, nice summer sipping' IPA.
