Loved everything from the mouthfeel to the rich chocolate and fruit flavor. rkling87 (2) - - APR 19, 2013 does not count
Excellent bourbon aged cask beer... Bourbon not too overpowering... Hints of vanilla. Edtorrey (26) - Maryland, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Just what you want in an imperial stout. Rich dark chocolate color, smooth and smoky forward palate and enough residual sugars to soften 9.5%ABV finish. You have to work at it to keep from downing it too fast.
Added to my favorites.

Draft from the source. Pours nearly pitch black with medium head and soapy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, bakers chocolate, and vanilla beans. Flavors are the same with the most luxurious dark chocolate truffle amidst some pecan and a dash of spice from the bourbon. The epitome of a desert beer. Astonishing. Pours rich, warm sable with a fairly thick tan head. Aroma fills the nose with roast malt, mocha, bourbon-soaked wood, molasses, and a snip of licorice. Flavor sends the tongue thanks to bourbon, woody, molasses, coffee, and sweet malt notes plus hints of chocolate and licorice. Viscous, heavy texture has good fizz. Let this siren seduce you - but if you get too seduced, please call a taxi.

Inky black pour with a generous foamy khaki head. The aroma is very pleasing with notes of charred barrel, bourbon, and cappuccino. Big full flavor with loads of sweet dark roast malt, caramel, bourbon barrel/char oak, and a touch of espresso and more oak. Sweet and bourbonny and chocolaty. Plenty of chocolate. joecon (37) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 22, 2016
Simply delicious!! Very dark, very chocolaty, taste of bourbon--very well done. Vanilla. Mix it all together and it is one of the best stouts that I have had in a very long time! If you can get it--do so--I highly recommend it! zickbeer_ye (441) - Virginia, USA - MAR 27, 2013
Boubony cocoa scent. Nice head dark black color. Toasty cocoa coffee notes with a nice Bourbony finish. Like silk on the palate. Delicious....ted if you get this were hanging at jims later. generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 22 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 9.5% and there is a short description of the beer as well. Appearance: The body has a very dark brown, motor oil like pour. In the glass it looks black as night and opaque with a small tan head. It?s head holds on well and makes lots of nice slick lacing on the glass. Smell: In the nose I get notes of chocolate, caramel, fresh baked bread, molasses and raison.Taste / Palate: The flavor brings all of the wonderful notes from its aroma to the tongue on a big full and smooth palate. In the background there is a very light sweetness and mellow vanilla undertone. anthony850 (470) - Andover, New Jersey, USA - MAR 26, 2015
