(Bottle). Thanks to Sharon and Doyle. Nice golden-amber complexion with white head and modern carbonation. Interesting mix of Bock and Lager with hops. Sort of a confused flavor.

Pours medium orange with a thin off white head which fades to just a little lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, citrus, pine, caramel, sweet malts, light floral hops, some light spicy hops, and some grassy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-full body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a decently tasty, well balanced imperial pils that is a tad too sweet for my tastes. rdixon77 (3066) - Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2015
More creamy and floral than most pils. Amber orange color. Pale malt and big floral notes. Full mouthfeel for a pils. Okay stuff. gueuze (986) - - JUN 5, 2015
Orangene Farbe. Malzig-fruchtiger Geruch. Sehr lieblicher Geschmack. Restsüß mit Orangeneindrücken. Kein Pils, eher ein tropischer Bock. Tayeth (690) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 5, 2015
Sehr lecker, aber kein Pils: fruchtiges Hopfenaroma mit etwas Malz. Geschmack zuerst, relativ süß, später kommt auch der Hopfen mit durch. Sehr fruchtig.

Apricot pour, nice white head. Floral, lemony pils hops, bready aroma with notes of prunes and berries. Flavor is zesty noble hops with fruity malt kick. Jamesthebrit (484) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Aroma is oily. Citrus. Lemon orange. A subtle spicy nice like a black pepper. ThisWangsChung (836) - Leonardtown, Maryland, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Looks fine. Hazy pumpkin color. Little head.
Taste is like the smell. Subtle hop oils on the palate but not too bad. Subtle peppery note. Orange. Alcohol on the finish. Malty finish.
Palate is light medium body. Carbonation is smooth. Taste is smooth.
I am surprised at how solid this beer is. Not anything I would go out of my way to buy but a solid beer to drink.
12 oz bottle into a pint glass. reberiii (497) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2014
A: Pours an amber color. The head is a one finger off-white shade with a nice, creamy texture. While the retention isn’t the best, it does leave some lacing behind on the glass.
S: It’s kind of hard to decide what’s in the aroma. Okay, I pick up some floral hops, and maybe some herbs, as well. Oh, and some nondescript citrus tones. The malts in particular are too strange for me to like this aroma. A shame.
T: If the aroma was somewhat indecipherable, then the flavor is almost totally indecipherable. I get wisps of defined notes - herbs, grass, citrus, ginger, malt - in random places, but nothing that pops out. This beer is messy and, frankly, not very good. It’s also metallic.
M: Full and creamy, yet not too sweet. Normally, I’d enjoy that, but since I don’t like the flavor, it’s hard to approve of the mouthfeel, either. Carbonation could be a little stronger.
O: Meh. Every once in a while sipping this, I’ll think "hey, it’s a decent brew", and then the next sip later, I go back to think "meh, don’t like this very much". And there are even some sips where I consider a drainpour. Luckily, I toughed this one out - and I can safely say this is the only one I’ll tough out.
For seven percent, it’s very smooth. Not spicy like most pilsner, it’s crafted to go down easy with more body than the macro brewers provide. I might enjoy more complexity, but still, would drink again. Quick3Beers (1462) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 18, 2014
Perfectly fine pils from Heavy Seas, although I feel like other styles of theirs are more reliable.
