Tried at a local tasting from a rep. from the brewery in nearby Baltimore -- and liked it enough to bring home a six pack. Larg, frothy head with a nice clean golden color. Minimal aroma at first, but I feel that as the lager had some time to breath it gained a sweeter, yeasier aroma. Overall, decent but nothing to write home to mom about. Slighty hazy dark golden color with a fat, foamy sticky head. Great aromas of spicy hops that have a hint of lemon peel, rich biscuity malts and a yeasty snap. Not as crisp as the aromas would lead on. Prickly mouthfeel, but from carbonation, not so much acid. a bit flabby and fruity, with an apple flavor on the finish. Needs to be just a bit cleaner/crisper, IMO, and it would be a knockout. egajdzis (6613) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2005
Poured a lightly hazy, orange golden color with a large, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemon citrus, sweet malts, dough, lots of hops, and a touch of barnyard. Taste of lemons, a touch a spicy banana, caramel malts, and finishing with a nice hoppiness. No alcohol. Really nice, I am disappointed I passed this one by for so long. A Pint a day keeps the scurvy away! Thanks Chuck! Pours a hazy golden color, no head. Aroma of fresh spicy hops, lemons, fresh smelling malt. Flavor is lots of lemon, pilsener malt, slight alcohol finish. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2005
Thanks Chuck! Pours to a hazy straw colored body with a huge white head with AWESOME lacing. The aroma is banana, lemon, wheat. The flavor is actually not too bad. Saaz hops, banana, light malt. The palate is light and smooth; refreshing.

well this beer gives a monstoursly tall white head about 3 times the size of the beer I poured. The beer itself pours a very light golden color w/ some light carbonation lots of sticky lacing. Big fresh saaz hop aroma lightly buttery w/ bannanas. Palate is fairly middle of the road ok coating. Flavor is a light sweet malt a tiny bit of carmel a little doughy an odd tart and yeasty flavor. Pretty good stuff. I was surprised as I didn’t expect much from it. OlivierMTL (709) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 25, 2005
Best by 10/05. Aroma is grainy with hints of banana and dry Saaz notes. Crisp with slight citrus. Transparent golden color with a frothy medium white head with some lacing. I get some sweetness to start, turning buttery and caramelly in the middle. Finishes a bit bitter with some more Saaz in there. Slight grapefruit bitter/dryness to finish. This is nice work. Medium hops and sweet malts tie in nicely with a peppery spicey background. Quite good.
