Small Craft exemplifies a robust pilsner—it’s crisp, well-carbonated, and slightly sweet. The beer is characterized by a firm malt backbone and a pronounced hop character. A fine aroma, from an array of hops, completes this quaffable beer.

Alcohol overshadowing the heavy pilsnerish grain and the rolling hay fields...A herbal finish is brought forth by the pleasant carbonation and some sort of equilibrium is introduced...Feels like the ingredients are still in dawn-mode and cannot aspire to full bloom yet...Thanks Guzzler67!!...

Tap at Barcade. Hazy amber beer with a fine-laced off-white head. Aroma of honey and sweet pale malt. A bit of grassy/citrusy hops and a bit of light peachy character as well. Flavour is balanced but a little on the sweet and honeyish side. Slightly sticky sweetness with a bit of apricot, melon and lighter fruity flavours. OK, but if this is supposed to be a pils or imperial pils they need to ramp up the hops.

Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma with notes of caramel and melon. Medium body. Flavor is again sweet malt with a note of caramel and a light note of ripe fruit. Pretty good.

[1919-20081222] 12floz bottle. Ice wine honey aroma with light yeastiness. Slightly hazy, medium orange body with a quick white head and some floating sediment. Bland bandaid pine wood flavour has a wine finish. Medium body. Fair.
Overheard: "Can strip some paint with that." "Is that a good thing?"

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light orange with a two finger, rocky, white head that has pretty good retention. No lacing. Aroma is potpourri, curacao, cinnamon, some intense booziness like cinnamon schnapps. Taste starting out is like a bad tripel, lots of mustiness and alcohol. Then moves to some metallic Saaz hops ending finally with some intense wheat, hay, and graininess. Meh.

12oz bottle, (best-by notch appears to be on the line between 2012/2013, with apparently no month notched...). Thin off-white head, half hazy orange color. Good lace. Nice, hoppy aroma with an orange-citrus flavor. Good, crisp carbonation. Light bitter and tangy taste. Pretty good imperial pils [or heller bock], better than expected.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A sweet honey and biscuit aroma, light hops. The flavor is clean and quaffable; lots of earthy hops, biscuit and toasted malts. Nice.

Some light sweet malt. Finishes with light sourness, some bitterness. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. On tap at DC Summerfest.

Clear dark yellow, almost burnt yellow in color. Nose is sweaty and stenchy, with crisp hops, corn and vodka like liquor... slightly fruity as well, like orange and melon scents., some yeast as well. Slick and fruity, crisp and wet palate... yeast, milk, corn, it’s a weird beer, one I can’t take too much of.

Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks solid; a transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells doughy and a little hoppy. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a nice snappy pilsner mouthfeel. Solid.
