Small Craft exemplifies a robust pilsner—it’s crisp, well-carbonated, and slightly sweet. The beer is characterized by a firm malt backbone and a pronounced hop character. A fine aroma, from an array of hops, completes this quaffable beer.

Came from the tap a light amber color with a thin white head. Moderate sweet malt essence with a light citrus hop finish. Refreshing taste considering the alcohol content.

Light copper in color. Not much aroma. A surprisingly good light pilsner. Came with beer of the month delivery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the Heavy Seas Sampler. Great balance in this beer. The pour is golden copper with a small head, good lacing. Aroma is strong hops and some citrus. Mouth feel is nice, good carbination. Flavor is sweet malts, and sharp hops. A very crisp and smooth finish, with hops coming to the front of the aftertaste. Alcohol content is hidden well beneath the combinations of flavors.

Beer pours Light golden color with a nice effervesence that brings to your nose a bright hoppiness, without being overpowering. Good flavor, nice balance of bitterness and pilsen character. I could probably fatigue after 4 or 5, but overall, very smooth and drinkable.

From beer of the month club. Caramel ish flavor. Seems nearly more like a Scottish ale than a pilsner. Do like it. Nice change of pace and a different lighter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Definite summer beer. Fruity hoppy but balanced. Alcohol is very well hidden here. Nasty aftertaste. Feel like I ate an orange peel. Higher rating if the first half of this beer was as good as the second. Probably the alcohol talking there. Weak buzz after one of these.

Color was a deep golden with medium white head. Smells some fruit/citrus with hints of hops. The Flavor is very smooth and actually sweet. This to me is a great summer beer to drink while eating some steamed crabs from the Chesapeake Bay!
