22 oz. Bottle. Awesome IPA. I smell Columbus(Tomahawk) in here, though I could be wrong. Could be the old Amirillo/Simco combo in there as well. Aroma of fresh hops,a nice balanced biscuity malt character, yeast. Excellent bitter balanced by malt. This reminds me of, if Magic hat made a really nice IIPA(along the lines of an Imperial Encore).

Bottle. Pours orange with a thin off-white head. Hoppy resiny aroma with citrus, pine, orange and light grapefruit. Flavor was malty and quite hoppy with citrus and tropical fruit, honey, light pine and a bit of caramel. Decent brew Holdwine (1240) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Overhopped, but not in a prententious way. Orange amber pour, with citrus and tropical fruits leading the way. Again, not sick on the hops, so it is a pretty smooth draught. Way to go Hugh. anders37 (27595) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2011
Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

(22oz bomber thanks to ericandersnavy) clear medium yellow-orange with good lacing. Nose of weed, dank, tropical. Taste is quite bitter, grapefruit, oily bitter citrus, sweet and soapy. Lasting hairspray finish. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Bomber from Franklin’s in Gaithersburg, MD, opened 6/27/11. Pours a hazy amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big fruity hop notes including citrus and tropical notes and a good bit of toffee malts. The taste is bitter hops... tropical, leafy, resin. Pale malts. Medium bodied. Another great IPA by Heavy Seas but if your looking for a great beer I would stick with the Loose Cannon. This beer is a little less hoppy than the loose cannon but goes down a little more smooth. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 22, 2011
651mL thanks to tastybeer. The pours is a clear orange topped by a small, bubbly yellow head. Little retention and spotty lace. Aroma is floral, sweet orange, mango, sugar, raw malt, lemon. Taste is salty, olive oil, olives, oily, bitter, pulpy, melon rind, lemon. Palate is full, oily, not astringent. Better than I expected. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - APR 20, 2011
Bottle thanks to bmanning. Served in a tulip.
Pours a light copper color with a very thin head. This falls quickly to a bubbly cap without any lacing. The nose is fairly strong with a lot of tropical-fruit from the hops. There is also a bit of tangerine and citrus. The taste is a bit grainy with some of the tropical and citrus fruits that were in the nose. The hop flavor is definitely a bit mild and there is some lightly-sweetened malt in the background. The feel is of a medium body with a good amount of carbonation though there isn’t really all that much bitterness. Decent enough; the nose is definitely the highlight.
