chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 15, 2015
2011 bottle served in a pint glass (from notes)..
Pours a crystal clear red-brown with a medium tan head. Head reduces quickly to a lasting top coat.
Attractive malty aroma with some light, unusual spicing. Likewise, the flavor has a solid malt backbone, with some pleasant, unobtrusive spicing. High ABV is a bit more obvious than ideal in mouth but not in the aroma.
M - good carbonation; medium body; less smooth than desired. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Pours a dark amber with thin head. Aroma is malty with some spice. Didn't get much of the sixes in the flavor. Somewhat bitter. Finishes sweet. Medium bodied. BeerandBlues2 (13719) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 12, 2011
