Warning! Early amateur rating! As Heban Czarne Piwo brewed in Poland and at 5.4% abv :- Dark Lager. Marmite nose. Mild malty chocolate with a smooth almost creamy palate. Semi dry finish.

Deep red, fizzy head. Pleasant sweet dark caramel aroma. Sweet and fruity palate, almost kvass-like with its tartness. Very sweet caramel body. Llow hopping, onlt a hint. Finish is back to the sweet caramelly malts. Decent Schwarz, but slightly schizophrenic between a czech dunkel and a real schwarz.
Bottle, 5.0%. Roasted caramel aroma. Clear very dark brown colour, red shine. The flavour is sweet, some brown sugar notes. Also roasted and caramelly. Sweet but OK balanced. Quite good. DSG (14838) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 6, 2011

Bottle. Gift from Hennie Groeneveld, who brought a 5-pack from Poland. Very dark colroed, firm head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. A bit sugary. Medium bodied. Initial sweetness is attacked by some roasted malt and milk chocolate. Short espresso aftertaste. Straightforward but lovely beer.
