JoeinDahlem (1521) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2017
Sweet, light-amber colored bock with real body to it. Smells of sugary caramel, bit of orange zest, and a touch of butterscotch (diacetyl), which adds to the impression of richness. Bitterness is light so it cloys a bit, and while the balance would be welcome sometimes you just want a big malty hug.

Bottle from ErlangerNick thanks my friend. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Some malt sweetness on the aroma. Some hop throughout. The hoppiest of the 3 bocks I’ve had today. Simple malts. Simple peppery hops. Nothing exciting but a competent heller bock. Fine.

SinH4 (4789) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2017
Bottle. Clear amber color with small white head. Aroma is malty, earthy, nutty, honey, flowery. Taste is the same, with an emphasis on the honeycomb, medium sweet. Medium carbonation. Very solid Heller Bock, albeit ordinary.

Bottle. Golden, offwhite lace. Flawless nice fruity well balanced pale bock. Nice grassy hops.

Ritzn (1380) - GERMANY - MAY 9, 2017
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is slight dog food, malty earthy, pale malt, cookie dough. Taste is intense fruchtgummi sweetness, with some herbal tartness. A bit harsh and heavy. Still quite ok and drinkable.

beerstar88 (587) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2017

biir (1359) - Berlin, - APR 17, 2017
Tap at the brewery, as Hebendanz Fastenbock on easter sunday - served in a stone mug. taste is slightly floral, grainy. alcohol well hidden. a bit too weak in taste for my likeing, but not too sweet and highly drinkable,

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 28, 2017
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Strawy malty and delicately buttery malt aroma with shades of vanilla and flowery hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and slightly honey-ish cara-malty base with delicately herbal and flowery hops in the background; sweet malty finish with a light but still balancing hops character. Surely not the best but also not the worst pale bock in Franconia. 24.III.17
