Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate, roasted malt, oak, maple and some dark fruit. The flavor is equally complex. I get quite a bit of tart dark fruit (mainly cherries and grapes) as well as some roasted malt and chocolate. The oak also comes through in the flavor. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very dark brown, almost black, with a khaki head. Sour, acetic, fruity nose. Currants, leather, oak, and green apple. Mild alcohol and a hint of chocolate. The flavor is tart and acetic as well. Bottle poured a dark brown color with a fizzy tan head. Aroma has bourbon barrels, rye, funky esters, dark fruit, and cherry. Mouth feel is medium with a thick coating for a sour and carbonation medium low. Flavor is rich on the barrels, dark fruit, and cherry tartness. Danish pour at VA Wine Experience tasting. Pours dark brown. Funky dark fruit aroma. Taste is stone fruits, booze, roasted malts. Surprisingly drinkable.

22 oz bottle. Bottled 02/18/13 Thick dark brown pour with amber highlights. Thick solid mocha colored head. Strong aroma of bourbon, whisky, sweet caramel, dark fruits, and the barrels. Taste is much of the same. Super sweet dark fruits, hint of funk, loads of bourbon. wood, whisky comes in on the finish. Interesting. A little too sweet for my liking. Super dry finish. Surprisingly works! Nice sweetness. Some bourbony infusion. And funk on top, but in a complimentary way. This is the type of sour I like.

Amber red colour. Malty sweet aroma, some heavily caramelized crystal and toasted malt with a sweet cherry fruitiness and a spicy hop bouquet throughout. Pine and earthy/mildly resinous hops. Sweet malts up front balance with the strong hoppiness later on. A bit of honeyed character. Some pine and black pepper on the finish.
