Bottle shared with and courtesy of Kermis. Poured almost black with a thin tan head. The aroma is rich ripe raisins and generally fruity. The flavour is sweet rich fruity Christmas pudding spicy and the alcohol give it some sharpness on the palate. A really awesome beer! kermis (14999) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2012

Pours near black with a small tan head. The nose is of booze and vanilla, dark fruit, and cherry. Full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is very rich with vanilla, plums, cheery, chocolate, and some sour notes. Remarkable blend. Strykzone (7800) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 14, 2012
Sampled at an esbls tastong. Almost black with red. A ring. This smells sour and funky. Tastes ot, too. A really intetesting beer that would not seem to work but does.

Dark brown pour with a thin beige that fades quickly. Aroma is vanilla, molasses, dates, and some wood. Taste is very sweet. Molasses, dates, vanilla, and a hint of booze. Heavy, syrupy, flat texture. Took some time to get through this one. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Was not a big fan of this one...let it age about 8 months and it was WAY too sweet and syrupy. We had a bunch of people here trying different beers and everyone agreed. Boo pras (602) - Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Just not my thing. All I got was sweetness. Poured this one out. Not my thing. Way to sweet. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Looks nice, dark and viscous. Good head. Nose is a bit hard to pin down. Attack was very sweet, almost syrupy. Finish is wet and sweet. Not my thing. Dorwart (2614) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - OCT 29, 2012
Good sized light brown head of dense and creamy bubbles. Bit of wet oak in the aroma with lots of sweet and roasted malts, some dark fruit, butterscotch and a hint of bourbon. Aroma has a lot going on. Color is a very dark crimson brown. Flavor is overly sweet with some molasses, black cherries, more wet red oak, roasted malts and raisins. Usually like a bit of sweetness from HeBrew but this one is a bit excessive. Mild alcohol presence is hidden by the heavy malts. Kind of syrupy and flat in the mouth. Finises sweet and oily with a hint of tartness. Not one of my favorites from HeBrew.
