COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours deep gold with a frothy, off-white head the aroma holds dried pale malts, biscuits, pithy citrus and a bit of orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, slight grass, pine needles, dry pale bread, so e lemon and tangerine pith light rind. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more of the same character-wise. Nothing wrong here.

Bottle - Malt, grains and a mild aromatic hop. Clear amber with nice medium head. Very dry and bitter but not much flavor. I do get some sweetness but again nite much flavor. Not what i would consider a session ale.

Bottle gushes upon opening? Pours dark amber in color with a tan head. Nose is heavily malty. Lots of caramel, toffee, and toasted bread. Some floral and citrus hop notes, maybe a bit of a spicy note. The flavor is quite malt forward. Bread, toast, toffee, and caramel dominate. There is some hop flavor, but it is a bit restrained. I get more bitterness than anything else from the hops. Light spice and floral notes with hints of citrus. Wasn’t a fan of this.

bhensonb (15838) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours slightly hazy copper with a slight white head. Aroma is more floral than anything. Med body or less. Flavor is lightly resin with floral. There’s lightly roasty caramel for background. A bit too towards amber I’d say, but it’s certainly drinkable. Has a nicely bitter finish.

Bittle as shown. Pours a clear orange copper with a small cremy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a fruity hop and cereal. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and caramel with light bitter finish. Easy to drink a good American pale ale.

Bottle pourd a clear goldwith a smal lasting white head. Aromas of toasted malt, carmel, earthiness, light pine and a hint of citrus. Palate was light odied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of toasted malt, earthiness, carmel, light pine and light grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering earthy finish.

Bottle sample at a He’Brew tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and citric hops, slightly stale, with caramel, malt, biscuits and a bit of fruitiness. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit biscuity and caramelly, with some fruitiness and slightly stale hops bitterness, a bit citric. Medium-bodied. Decent.
