Hoppy nose, hoppy start, hoppy finish. Very nice beer. Not too flowery, more citrus tang to it. Cybercat (5960) - Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Comes out of the tap an opaque dark honey-golden with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale wheat head. Aroma is VERY hoppy, more woody than evergreen, with fruity and malty hints. Flavor is mainly hoppy, quite bitter and woody, with malty and fruity notes and a whisper of honey. Firm, ragged texture has plenty of life and fizz. If you like IPAs, this one is for you. Dry-hopped beers rock! ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Had a nice hop/citrus and yeasty malt aroma
Appearance- A murky copper color with a nice sized white head.
Taste- A real good flavor of citrus, malt, yeast and hops. Had a real good blended flavor
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation.
Overall- I liked this brew a lot, I will drink it again davey101 (751) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 7, 2012
12 oz bottle into a SA perfect pint. I was disappointed that they didn’t list the ABV on the bottle...here I was thinking I discovered a sub-5% abv hoppy brew...oh well
A - Dark amber body. Super fluffy white head with tons of lacing and retention.
S - A smell that instantly reminds me off Hoptimum and 120 minute in terms of the sweetness...only this is 5.2% abv..crazy! Super sweet and piney hops with a great cracker maltiness. I can’t describe the exact aroma, but its precisely what I love in an IPA, and this is a pale.
T - Falls a bit short, but still tasty. Sweet and piney hops with caramel malts. Biterness is quite low despite the large hop presence. mouth feel is watery and thin though.
O - Kind of an odd beer with lots of key words thrown in. Session beer...yes, but I was hoping it was less abv. Dry hopped? Oh hell yes! This is my first Schmaltz beer and I love it. One of the best pales I’ve had.

Wonderful blend of malt sweetness, body, and favorful hops. Extreme hop bitterness was absent. Clear amber color with modest head.

Attractive pour. Copper body with a long lasting large bubbly off white head. Floral hops very aromatic. Almost brett type flavors. Dry finish. Some subtle nut malt in the background. Quite a nice session ale. eRock_2013 (489) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Wow, this is simply an excellent beer! This variation on the west coast pale ale style pours an amber-accented orange color, with a rich foamy head. Aroma of citrus fruit, predominantly grapefruit and resin, with a sweet malty undertone. The taste is exceedingly balanced, features solid piney hoppy notes with fruity pacific hop flavors, along with a sweet warm toffee caramel malt. The hoppy bitterness is present but subdued, fine tuned. Lighter bodied but has a refreshing full flavored mouthfeel. Finishes on a bitter grapefruit note. All around just a delicious ale, I will be buying this again! swigswthwolves (74) - Michigan City, Indiana, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Pours a clear dark amber. Aroma is of malts with floral notes detected. I can almost taste the brewery in this beer. The best word that comes to mind is fresh. It just reminds me of drinking a beer while at a brewery. Palate feel is average. Overall, this is a good beer to experience. Mellow and malty yet hoppy. cubs (10675) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver. Pours a hazy, dark red orange appearance with a big, light brown head. Spicy hoppy, mild grapefruity, herbal/earthy, toasty malty aroma. Prickly spicy, big herbal hoppy, somewhat piney, nicely toasted malty flavor. Nice session beer.
