Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber.
Pours a clear darker gold with a one finger white head. Really good head retention with decent lacing.
Aroma is much better than many other IPA’s I have had. Lots and lots of pine along with a touch of citrus. Really a nice blend of earth and citrus here. A little bit of light wood too with pinecones.
The flavor doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. More pine than citrus but not nearly as strong as was present in the aroma. Moderate to high bitterness throughout along with some more wood and pine resin. Finish is moderately sticky with bitterness lingering long after all flavors have subsided.
Overall, a better than average IPA. It is definitely hop-centric with malt being nearly undetectable but the hops in this really work well. One to pick up every now and then. nearbeer (5457) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 16, 2012
22 oz. Clear amber with a lasting disc of cream on top. Nose is grapefruit, resin, tea leaf, earthy toffee. Flavor is orange, grapefruit, resin, caramel, woody pith and tea leaf on the finish. Near-medium body is soft and has light-medium carbonation and a long bitter finish. jhamp9 (1887) - Corinth, Texas, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Clear orange with a nice white and great lacing. Aroma is mango, pine, and caramel. Taste is pine, caramel, and grapefruit. Really nice bitterness. Good one. Dodgrblu (752) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 15, 2012
22 ounce bottle from Total Wine Roseville, under hopped for my taste. If hop is in the name, bring mass amounts of bitterness or pine (preferably both). Suttree (6415) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Reddish copper, big beige head. Very piney aroma,Lots of pine in the flavor, as well. Solid, easy drinking IPA. Will buy again...

Twist, Stockholm (old backlog). Amber colour, small off-white creamy head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, some fruity and floral hoppyness along with mild parfumeish notes. Flavour is zesty, toffeeish, caramelly and quite nice grassy and floral bitterness in the finish.
Bomber from World Market. Medium amber/orange in color. Fairly hoppy nose with some pine and grapefruit. Crisp and hopped up front with a nice bit of sweetness that balances out the hops. The finish is some grapefruit and a little more sweetness. Tasty and refreshing IPA. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2012
A bit stark and rough around the edges. Malt flavors have an unbalanced amount of bread crust and burntness, with only a weak amount of sweetness to counteract the bitterness. Hops are highly citric, with sharp elements of oily rind that linger a bit too long on the tongue. Alcohol seems stronger than 6.8 percent, too. Bold, but abrasively bold. Bomber bottle. Pours amber orange, white head. Aroma of hops, clear body, decent IPA all the way through. Onslow (1509) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 1, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2012 Pour from a 22oz bottle. Clear amber brew, mid toned color, with medium off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, floral and citrus hops. Taste in nice balance of medium malt at the start with a hops forward bitterness, swallow end with pronounced floral and citrus hops. Finish is complex, bitter, and tasty. Medium body and average palate. Very good, fine IPA.
