A bit too malt forward for an Imperial IPA. This has good drinkability. It has good flavor and goes down easy. Overall, I think this is a good beer, and a nice IPA. There is some nice maltiness and a good citrus flavor. I just wish there was a little more hop intensity. I recommend trying it out. It is a good beer, and I would drink it again.

draft, amber color, off whit head, good lacing. Aroma of floral, citrus, spruce hops, caramel, toast, malts. light sweetness up front, , lightly bitter, medium body, dry finish. oily feel, average carbonation, good overall tasting ipa. The hop flavor is not in your face (which I like), a more mild ipa, but a good brew. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2012
draft at Coles, Buffalo NY. copper pour. Malts & Butterscotch upfront in aroma. Decent bitterness in flavor, butterscotch notes, caramel malts. OK unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - SEP 14, 2012
22oz bottle. Reddish amber color. Thin white fizz. Heavy carbonation. Aroma of a musty IPA, nice munich malts, toasted malts, resiny hops. Taste is a light bodied buscuit malt backbone. Finishes with a heavy carbonation, leafy hops flavor. Not as good as the First Sample batch I had, that offering was stickier, with more dry hopping. This one is just a nice American Pale Ale.

Pours a deep golden orange color with a thick eggshell foam....sticks nicely. Aromas are peachy, caramel, pine and a touch of citrus peel. On the palate its heavy and bitter... nothing standing out but a bundle typical hop notes similar to the nose. Best of the hop profile is the mid citrus thats juicy but the sticky bitter finish phlegms up in the finish. Not bad but again no date to be found o the bottle, possibly just past its prime? brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Pours a clear orange color with a finger of white head. The nose is heavy on the citrus peel and bread aromas. A decent amount of line and some light sweetness. The flavor is fairly bitter, but the hop flavor is lacking a little. Some grapefruit, citrus rind, pine, and a light grass note. Heavy on the bread with some mild sweetness. keepersj12 (3142) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Oy. The chosen beer? I don’t know about that but pretty good by Jesus, sorry. Don’t pass over this one, sorry again. I bet Jewish you had another, don’t Jew. Ok, I quit with the Jewish gags. Nice beer though. bth122 (1701) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Draft at beer nutz. Goldish color, medium head. Fresh floral, citrus hop aroma. Medium bitter, resin, slight sticky. Medium body. Pine on taste, citrus hop. matthewjk (1138) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Poured bomber - Excellent hop representation here. Nicely balanced by some malt and even wheat in there. Sort of reminds me of Bell’s Two Hearted. Nicely done.
