pours slightly cloudy with a cloudy orange glow and a nice head that keeps. citrus hops in the nose. taste is bittersweet hops. a very fresh tasting IPA. this has got to be up there with the best IPA’s. taste just sticks in your mouth with piney and citrus hops. slightly oily and sticky. i keep smelling the beer because it smells just as good as it tastes. 6 bucks is a steal in my opinion.
Ok i should have known from obvious marketing ploy here, but i just couldn’t resist. I love a good refreshing dry hopped ipa. This was not that. Starts off with a decent malt back bone and ends extra bitter and earthy. There is a little bit of balance until u swallow and then u have a mouth full of garden weeds. Yuck. Made it bout halfway thru this one, but the last sip not nearly as bad as the first. BlackHaddock (7960) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2017
Bomber on 8th Feb 2017 while on holiday in California. What a load of bollocks on the label. Slight haze to the golden amber body, full head on both pours. Hop centric with a citrus leaning in both the aroma and taste. Semi-bitter and easy drinking beer, no where near as hop bitter as I expected to be honest. islay (3125) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 11, 2017
12 oz. bottle, consumed on 1-11-17. Pours a cloudy bronze with a moderate amount of beige head. Light to moderate effervescence. Good lacing. Pungent aroma of mineral water, herbs, and pine. Malty taste features flavors of resin, mint toothpaste, and Orange Julius. Lightly bitter finish. Pretty darn dirt-bitter aftertaste, which I like. Medium to full body. Frothy in the palate. Perhaps past its prime; I don’t know. Old-fashioned, East Coast IPA with a nod toward modernization. A below average IPA overall. gripweed57 (2980) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep gold color topped by a moderate sized frothy beige head. Toasted malt nose with a big citrus hop bouquet. Some caramel malt up front, but the hops are all over it. Notes of pine, resin and grapefruit. Middle is all hops with citrus and spice. Finishes bitter with black pepper notes. GoufCustom (2258) - HONG KONG - OCT 28, 2016

355 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.
Looks: Clear amber colour with a cloud of misty yeast particles; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Good sticky lacing with notable slight carbonation.
Aroma: Strong and fragrant Ale malt, with strong pine, strong resins, citrus, grapefruit, strong caramel, strong floral, black pepper, bread, yeast, lemon and strong grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet Ale malt, with strong Bock-ish amberness, strong pine, very strong resins, alcohol, strong liquorices, grapefruits, floral, caramel, molasses, strong spices, biscuits, strong lemon, very strong bitter hops and strawy grass.
Body: Mid to light body. Thin, slick and very oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Solid Ale maltyness in a wheat-thinned, slightly watery background. Strong resins ooze, pine and sharp bitterness hit thick and fast and above everything, followed by Munich’s Bock-ishness and strong caramel. The bare-naked malt got the strong booze and liquorices exposed. Under the shadow are grapefruits, strong floral and spices molasses. Sweetness is fair to medium. Biscuity with strong lemon to round. Pretty intense!
Hoppiness: Strong pine, strong resins, citrus, grapefruit, strong floral, black pepper, nutmeg, lemon and strong grass in nose. Strong pine, very strong resins, grapefruits, floral, strong spices, strong lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is strong sharp for a lasting, very high astringent oozy bitter finish.
After Taste: Fairly dry. Very oozy and strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one is strong in just about very aspect, especially the resiny piney hoppiness, but the strong malt got wheat-thinned too much and it gets pretty boozy and one dimensional. Less wheat, more malt, the better. Still a nice one to try if you dig big ooze and bitter hops.
Hazy golden/amber, medium cream head, good lacing and high carbonation. Aroma is biscuit and fruity hops. Taste confirms the hints of the nose with mango, apricot, pineapple and biscuit. Very bitter in the finish. Tasty a full bodied IPA, good. rjplumer (1240) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 14, 2016
A citrus hoppy aroma. Hazy burnt orange and amber body. Frothy head thats about an inch thick. Mild bitterness with citrus malty smooth finish. Aurelius (5662) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2016
Pretty big, nice aroma - citrus esters, doughy, some toasted sugars. Standard longneck, bad label. Almost clear (if not), honey pine brew with a webby, stacked cream-colored head. Fairly sweet, citrus pith and pineapple esters, toasted sugars, leafy, an interesting flavor profile. I consider the palate flawed -- there’s a growing, green pecan astringency that sits on top of your tongue and becomes increasingly unpleasant over time. Slightly heavy body. ABC Liquors, Betton. Consumed from the Purloined Unibroue Tulip, waiting for Hurricane Hermine to knock the lights out, 9/1/16. Travlr (26431) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle courtesy of altonbrownd, thanks! Hazy deep golden color, cream colored head with solid lacing. Bready floral aroma. Taste is bitter straw, dry finish. Decent. Andrew196 (2040) - Katy, Texas, USA - JUL 26, 2016
Pretty good! Deep golden color. The creamy white head almost made the entire session. The nose was well balanced, fresh hoppiness but a defined malty backbone. Mouthfeel was a tad syrupy, a bit heavier on the tongue than it needed to be but very enjoyable to drink.
