Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours very dark brown with a very slight, creamy tan head. Aroma has a bit of heat, and lots of Dark fruit. Maybye a bit of smoke. Full bodied +. Flavor is very malty, with dark fruit, coffee, could be chocolate. It’s almost meaty. Treacle is in it. It has hoppy bitterness, but it’s sort of a losing battle. Flavors are strong enough the alcohol gets lost from perception. Quite gobsmacking! jbrana (640) - NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Very full flavor. Strong notes of vanilla, caramel, and roasted barley. Kind of hot, but still quite nice.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of grape, plum, cherry and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, dried fruit and light cocoa with a smooth lingering fruity cocoa finish. ajnepple (6622) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 10, 2013
On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Almost black with a brown head. Aroma is mostly roasted malts, dark chocolate and alcohol. Flavor is more complex with a variety of malt and hop subtleties. Full bodied with a boozy finish. tdoyledesign (179) - Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Pours a dark black with a medium off-white head. Aroma is malts, malts and a hint of coffee followed by booze and more booze. Taste is a hint of hops followed by roasted coffee and a hit of malts. There is an intense booze aftertaste that lingers. Palate is malt and very boozy. It definitely changes for the better as it warms. This is definitely good and unique but I’m wondering where the tipping point is. Still nothing compares to he Jewbelation Fifteen. It was a more perfect balance. Still love this series though.

Bottle. Almost black with a brown head. Aroma is mostly roasted malts, dark chocolate and alcohol. Flavor is more complex with a variety of malt and hop subtleties. Full bodied(malty) with a slightly boozy finish. Not as boozy as you would think for 17%. I really enjoyed this one. reebtogi (6270) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 16, 2015
650ml bottle pour a dark brown color with a finger and a half of light beige head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate and roasted grains with some pine and and dark fruits. Taste is a dark fruit and chocolate malty sweetness with a roasted grain and light pine hop bitterness. Alcohol is noticeable, but subdued. This is a well done brew that is nicely balanced and quite flavorful. Highly recommended.
