This one left me wanting. Faint nut aroma. Average color and a watery palate. Average and somewhat light mild malt and nut flavor. Meh.

Draft sample at Cherry Blossom Beer & Wine fest, deep brown color with tan head. Aroma notes of toasted malt sweetness and light chocolate. Taste adds some nuttiness and caramel. Light body, moderate-low carbonation, sticky with sweet roast finish. Nice brown ale.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with red highlights and a pillowy, fine-grained, soft light brown head. Nose is smoke, toast, roast pecans, and polished wood. On the tongue, there’s dark caramel, milk chocolate, tea, smoke, and vanilla. Really well balanced, with a good mouthfeel and a long finish shifting into molasses. Tasty.

Deep malt aroma with a deep brown color. Slight bitter flavor with yeasty and sweet flavor. Strong amount of carbonation. Good, solid brown ale.

Super carbonated. Brown pour, huge tan head. It’s a mouthful of yeast. They need to filter this thing.

Dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma is nutty, malty, a little sweet. Smooth, a little bit of a creamy feel. Not bad.

Pours a dark brown with resilient 1 finger off-white head. Aroma is malt, biscuit, and a hint of milk chocolate. Taste - rich malt, chocolate, a touch of caramel and biscuit. Finish is pretty short and clean.
